Biography

To whom it may concern: My name is Edrick Destine. I am a 5'10" class of 2027 guard out of Bradenton, FL. I attend the State College of Florida Collegiate School, where I currently hold a 3.74 GPA. I am taking dual enrollment classes through the State College of Florida. I am filling out my eligibility forms to play for Bayshore High School's basketball team. I have a mostly positive attitude while remaining serious. I come from a background of two Haitian immigrant parents and a Haitian immigrant older brother. Given this background, all of my success on and off the court is the result of my constant hard work, persistence, and resilience. In the classroom, my 3.8 GPA comes from years of sacrificing adequate time to focus on my hobbies and interests. I got a 1240 on my SAT, which I took in March. With my desire to play college basketball, I want to maximize my NIL potential. This is something that I can start right now, in high school, due to my living in Florida, a state that permits NIL profits for high school athletes. With the ability to gain NIL profits, not only do I have the potential to be a popular person, but I also have a higher chance of getting recruited to play college basketball at the high level I aspire to be in. Sincerely, Edrick Destine
