Acadia University Women's Basketball

Harvey was ecstatic to return to his alma mater and the AUS last season to take over the Axewomen basketball program. In his first season at the helm of the program, he helped guide them to a 16-4 regular season record, a 12 win improvement over the previous season, and a CIS Top 10 Ranking. A native of Baddeck, N.S., Harvey is more than familiar with Nova Scotia basketball and Atlantic University Sport, and has an array of coaching experience at the provincial and university level. Prior to taking over the Mount Royal University Cougars program in 2013, Harvey was an assistant coach with the Cape Breton University Capers womens team from 2009-12 under head coach, Fabian MacKenzie. Harvey was also an assistant coach with the Cape Breton Capers mens team from 2011-13. During his summers, Harvey was the head coach of various Basketball Nova Scotia provincial teams, culminating in him leading Nova Scotias womens team at the 2013 Canada Games in Sherbrooke, QC. As an assistant at Cape Breton University, Harvey was a part of 3 AUS Championships, and 1 CIS Bronze Medal.
