In his first season as head coach of the Bulldogs, Phillips compiled a 18-10-1 record and made a trip to the NCHA Harris Cup Finals. Adrian finished the season as the No. 11 ranked team in the country according to the NCAA Percentage Index (NPI). Phillips comes back to Adrian after serving as an Assistant Coach during the 2021-22 season on then head coach, Adam Krug's staff. Phillips helped the Men's NCAA Hockey team clinch the 2022 Division III National Championship and was an assistant on the staff that finished as Runner-Ups in 2023. In 2019-20, Phillips was as an assistant coach for the Odessa Jackalopes of the North American Hockey League. After making his coaching debut there, he was elevated to interim head coach mid-season and spent the second half of the year leading the Jacks. Before returning to Adrian in the Fall of 2024, Phillips served as the Assistant to the Head Coach at Miami-Ohio University (NCAA DI) for a season. At Miami, Phillips worked with the video and analytics team which contributed to in-game decision making. Phillips also facilitated skills sessions with players and assisted with practice planning and individual player video sessions. Phillips began his coaching career with a wealth of professional playing experience after spending five seasons as a defenseman in the ECHL. Before that, he spent four years playing NCAA Division I Hockey at the University of Massachusetts where he logged 23 goals and 27 assists for the Minutemen. After his 124-game career at U-Mass, Phillips signed an American Hockey League contract with the Bridgeport Sound Tigers before starting his ECHL stint with the Stockton Thunder in 2014-15, when he had 9+18=27 scoring totals in 67 contests. He also skated for the Kalamazoo Wings, Norfolk Admirals, Indy Fuel, Orlando Solar Bears and Tulsa Oilers. Phillips also attended NHL Development Camps with the Philadelphia Flyers, New York Islanders, and the Minnesota Wild throughout his professional playing career. While playing, Phillips developed his coaching skills during the off-seasons as a member of Total Package Hockey's staff where he worked with Michigan's elite hockey players. At the same time, Phillips led the summer and fall season practices for Brother Rice High School and provided private skill development lessons. Phillips, a native of Farmington Hills, launched his playing career in Michigan playing for several AAA hockey teams before joining the Soo Eagles of the Northern Ontario Junior Hockey League. Phillips was drafted by the Indiana Ice of the United States Hockey League and suited up for the team for 47 games during the 2009-10 season. Phillips stayed in the USHL for only one season before moving on to play at U-Mass. Phillips received his bachelor's degree in psychology from U-Mass in 2014. *Updated as of July 2, 2025*  

Fuchs enters his second year on the Adrian College men's ice hockey staff with the 2016-17 season. He helps in all facets of the Bulldogs' program, including recruiting, practice plans, on-ice coaching and working with the defensemen. The Severna Park, Md., product comes to Adrian from Mount Royal University and National Sports Development Jr. Hitmen program in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. For one season, he served as an assistant coach and the director of scouting and recruitment for Mount Royal, which is a member of the Canadian Interuniversity Sport, Canada West Division. His responsibilities included working with defenseman, on-ice coaching, practice plans, scouting and recruiting, film breakdown, in-game defensive strategy and arranging for off-ice activities with the Mount Royal Cougar Summer Hockey Camp. Fuchs helped the Cougars to the best turnaround in school history, going from 11 to 25 wins in the span of just one season.  Mount Royal was ranked No. 1 on the penalty kill in CIS and coached Mackenzie Johnston to the All-Canada West Rookie Team as a defenseman. The Cougars also spent time in the top-10 national rankings for the first time ever. He helped the team raise its academic profile, achieving a 3.57 for the highest grade-point average for any program at the University. In addition, he was a coach and on-ice instruction leader for the Junior Hitmen from July 2014 to August 2015, specializing in power skating and skills as well as directing various camps. He also has experience coaching with Alberta Cup Team Central, USA Hockey Select 15s Festival Camp, Stix Hockey Academy, Queen Annes County High School, Dan Houcks Hockey Dynamic and Maryland Model hockey clinics, and Wolfe Hockey Development and Piney Orchard Summer Hockey camps. A 2014 graduate in financial information analysis from Clarkson University in Potsdam, N.Y., played three seasons on the blue line for the NCAA Division I Golden Knights. He received the top pre-law minor award during his junior year, was a member of the Adirondack Business Cup and twice made the All-Eastern College Athletic Conference Academic Team. He skated for the Syracuse Stars of the Eastern Junior Hockey League from 2008 to 2010 before joining the college ranks.

Jeremy Symington begins his 15th campaign during the 2025-2026 academic year coaching the goaltenders at Adrian College, bringing years of experience instructing that position. He also is the operations manager of the on-campus Arrington Ice Arena. In 2017-18, Adrian goaltenders compiled the second-lowest goals-against average in team history at 1.72. The Bulldogs ranked second in the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association and fifth in NCAA Division III in scoring defense (1.80). He tutored Kevin Entmaa who earned a spot on the 2016 U.S. College Hockey Online (USCHO.com) All-Rookie Team, was All-NCHA Freshman, and made the all-tournament team during Adrian's run to the NCHA Harris Cup Championship. Entmaa was the last unbeaten goalie at any NCAA men's level and became the first Bulldog to go undefeated, untied during the regular season (minimum of 10 decisions). He finished 14-1 to lead the nation with a .933 winning percentage, compiled a 2.12 goals-against average and .926 save percentage. In the last four years, Symington groomed professional netminders Entmaa (SPHL Macon Mayhem/Independent, 2019), Dillon Kelley (ECHL Norfolk Admirals/Independent, 2018), Tyler Parks (ECHL Missouri Mavericks/ NHL New York Islanders, 2016), and Cameron Gray (EIHL, Coventry Blaze, 2022). Symington has helped Adrian's goalies progress throughout their careers since his arrival in time for the 2011-12 season. The Bulldogs have ranked among the national leaders in fewest goals allowed and save percentage during his tenure. In his first year on the job, the Bulldogs had two freshmen on the depth chart and they both played very well. Scott Shackell was named All-Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association and ranked second in the league with a 2.12 GAA in league play. Shackell ended his senior season in 2014-15, recording an 18-2-3 record, 2.13 overall GAA and .926 save percentage. James Hamby owned the third-best GAA, yielding just 2.31 goals per outing. Symington joined the Bulldogs men's hockey coaching staff as a goaltender coach after a long minor league career. He spent nine years playing for 10 different organizations, beginning with the Elmira Jackals of the United Hockey League over 51 games from 2001-03. During the 2002-03 season, he split time with Elmira and the American Hockey League's Binghamton Senators, where he went 3-1-1 with a 2.32 GAA and .922 save percentage. He also saw action with the Lubbock Cotton Kings (2003-04), Laredo Bucks (2004-05), Port Huron Flags (2005-06), Rio Grande Valley Killer (2006-07), Kalamazoo Wings (2007-08) and the Odessa Jackalopes (2008-09). He was selected by the New York Islanders in the eighth round (No. 196 overall) in the 1997 NHL Entry Draft. Symington played collegiately at NCAA Division I St. Lawrence University from 1997 to 2001, and posted a record of 16-8 with a 2.93 GAA as a senior. He backstopped the Saints to two ECAC Hockey titles (2001 tournament most valuable player) and three NCAA Tournament appearances including a Frozen Four berth in 2000. *Updated as of July 2, 2025*  

Krug '12, who became the second head coach in the history of the Adrian College men's hockey program on July 7, 2014, enters his third season at the helm of his alma mater. In each of his first two seasons, Krug has led the Bulldogs to sweeps of both the Northern Collegiate Hockey Association regular season and tournament championships, a pair of NCAA tournament berths, five different All-Americans and a 48-8-4 overall mark (.833). In 2015-16, Adrian captured the NCHA Peters Cup and Harris Cup titles again en route to a 24-4-1 ledger and the NCHA South Division crown with a 17-2-1 record. Freshman defenseman Cory Dunn was a consensus All-America pick and senior blueliner Chris Leone made CCM American Hockey Coaches Association All-America First Team and D3hockey.com Second Team. Krug also coached USCHO.com Rookie of the Year Connor Armour among a NCHA-leading four all-conference standouts and seven academic all-conference honorees. In Krug's first season, the 2014-15 Adrian squad posted a 24-3-3 overall record, reaching the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Men's Ice Hockey Championship, and finishing third in both national ranking polls. He coached a team-record three All-Americans (Kyle Brothers and Josh Ranalli, both First Team; Ryan Gieseler, Second Team), five NCHA academic all-conference honorees and six Bulldogs who were cited on the all-conference and/or NCHA all-rookie teams. Krug was the team captain for the Bulldogs in their inaugural season of 2007-08 and he also played the following season. He transferred from Division I Wayne State University in Detroit before joining the Bulldogs as a junior, scoring 42 points in 67 career games for the Warriors in 2004-05 and '05-06. At Adrian, Krug was named a 2008 second-team All-American in the West Region. He also set the Adrian and Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association single-season record with 77 points. In addition, Krug led NCAA D-III in scoring at 2.66 points per game and was named MCHA Player of the Year. Krug followed that with the sixth-best scoring season at Adrian College with 52 points including 22 goals and 30 assists in 2008-09. He ranked fifth in NCAA Division III in scoring at 1.86 points per game and was selected first-team All-MCHA (the forerunner of the NCHA) as a senior. In just two seasons at Adrian, Krug ranks seventh all-time in school history with 129 points, sixth with 52 goals, fifth with 20 power play goals and ninth with 77 assists. Krug has gained valuable experience behind the bench since his playing days at Adrian. He served as the assistant coach, then associate head coach of the Indiana Ice of the United States Hockey League from 2012-14. He helped the Ice capture the 2013-14 Clark Cup championship awarded to the Tier I Junior A national champions. The Ice also won the 2013-14 Eastern Conference regular season title. Under Krugs guidance, the Ice had over 30 players earn a NCAA Division I scholarship playing opportunity and four of the players were drafted by the National Hockey League. Krug joined the Indiana Ice coaching staff after a four-year professional hockey career across the United States and in Europe. He started his professional career with the East Coast Hockey League's Cincinnati Cyclones, a minor league affiliate of the Nashville Predators, before heading across the Pond for a one-year stint with the Nijmegen Devils in the Netherlands. While on the Devils' roster, Krug led the team in points (68) and assists (43). After returning from Europe, Krug spent time with the ECHL's Toledo Walleye, a minor league affiliate of the Detroit Red Wings and Chicago Blackhawks.

In his first nine years, Astalos has guided the team to THREE ACHA National Championships in 2018, 2021, and most recently in 2024 as part of seven trips to the "Frozen Four", five trips to the national championship game, two runner-up finishes, eight Great Lakes Collegiate Hockey League regular-season titles, five GLCHL postseason crowns, a staggering 285-28-4 overall record, a 110-2 conference mark, and three different winning streaks of 20 games or more, while also earning six Conference Coach of the Year awards. In 2024-25, the Bulldogs transitioned to the newly-formed Great Lakes Six Hockey Conference, and in the first season of play, Astalos led his team to a regular season and playoff crown. That season the Bulldogs hosted the inaugural GL6 Conference Playoff Tournament in February 2025, and defeated Calvin in overtime on home ice to capture the conference's first ever playoff title. During the 2020 season, the Bulldogs were also the #1 ranked team in the country for the last 17 weeks of the season, before the national tournament was canceled due to COVID-19. During the 2017-18 season, Adrian went 34-1 overall, 15-0 in GLCHL play and ended with a 20-game winning streak (for second-longest in program history) that included a 7-0 playoff record while outscoring opponents 39-7 en route to the ACHA title. For his efforts, Astalos was named the ACHA Division 1 Coach of the Year while seeing Player of the Year seniors Austyn Roudebush (1st Team Goalie), Brad Kobryn (1st Team Forward) and sophomores Joe Costello (2nd Team Forward), JP Grineau (3rd Team Defenseman) land on the All-America Team while blue liner Jordan Oshowy was appointed to the ACHA All-Rookie Team. In Astalos' first year, the 2017 Bulldogs finished first in the GLCHL standings with a 15-1 conference record, 33-3 overall, fourth in the ACHA Tournament and produced All-Americans Marcus Rose, Michael Barrett and Kobryn. Astalos earned his first conference coach of the year citation. In addition to coaching at Adrian College, Astalos served as the head coach for Team USA who participated in the World Cup of University Hockey in April 2023 in Carta, Romania. The United States squad, which featured four Adrian College Bulldogs, were able to go 5-0 in the tournament; defeating Team Canada in the championship game to bring home the gold medal. In July 2024, Astalos received his second international coaching gig as he was named Head Coach of Team USA Men's Ice Hockey for the 2025 FISU World University Winter Games in Torino, Italy. Astalos coached Team USA to a fourth-place finish and impressively accomplished the first undefeated pool play record for a Team USA squad fully rostered by the ACHA. Astalos came to Adrian after serving as the head coach and director of hockey operations for the 2015-16 Kingsville Kings, a South Division member of the Greater Metro Junior 'A' Hockey League in Ontario, Canada. He led the Kings to a 39-3 record and they won the division title by ten points. He was also named the GMHL All-Star Game head coach and was a 2016 Russell Cup finalist. Astalos received a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from Eastern Michigan University in 2012, where he was a team captain and most valuable player for his team. He earned All-GLCHL accolades and an invitation to the USA Hockey Evaluation Camp. He also represented EMU at the ACHA D1 All-Star Game. He played his junior hockey for the Missoula Maulers of the Northern Pacific Hockey League and the Kenai River Brown Bears out of the North American Hockey League.
