Adrian College Men's Soccer

The Fall of 2025 will mark Charlie Miles' third season as head coach of Adrian College Men's Soccer after being hired in January 2023. Miles comes from Detroit Mercy where he served as an assistant coach before earning interim head coach status in November of 2022. Prior to Detroit Mercy, Miles served as assistant coached at Concordia University Ann Arbor from 2019-21. He was a 2020 graduate of Concordia Ann Arbor where he received his Bachelor's degree in business marketing.   Miles has long been a part of Detroit City FC as a coach, first as a youth club soccer coach for DCFC Youth West since 2016, where he ran training sessions and created daily activities for various youth teams. He also was the assistant women's soccer coach for DCFC in 2021, creating and executing session plans, along with assisting in pre-game strategy and game-day coaching for the semi-pro women's team locally in Detroit.   Miles is a native of Brighton, England where he grew up playing for the Brighton and Hove Albion Academy. In 2014, he played in the Premier Development League in Florida for SWFL Adrenaline while beginning his coaching career with a Chicago Fire affiliate.   "I'm delighted to be named the head coach of the men's soccer program at Adrian College," said Miles. In 2024, Miles led the Adrian College men's soccer team to its best record since 2019, posting an 11-4-2 record, tying the program record for wins in a season, and making it back to the MIAA Conference Tournament. The team also set a new program mark for wins to start a season when they accomplished a 9-0 start in non-conference play. *Updated as of July 15, 2025*

Kyle Haines '20 was named head coach of the Adrian College men's and women's tennis programs in October of 2023. Haines is a 2020 graduate of Adrian College where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in business while majoring in marketing. Kyle has spent the fall of 2023 as the Bulldogs’ volunteer assistant tennis coach. He enters his third season as head coach of the program in 2025-2026.   Haines was a member of the Adrian College men’s tennis team for four seasons. During his four seasons on the team, Haines was named a team captain. The Bulldogs placed in the top-4 every season Haines was a member of the team and totaled 35 matches won.   From 2016-2020, Haines served as Director of Tennis Camps for Davison High School where he designed and implemented comprehensive training sessions with teams and individuals. Since 2018, Haines has served as a tennis club coach and player consultant for the YMCA of Monroe. *Updated as of July 15, 2025*  

Gipple joins the Adrian College coaching staff prior to the 2026 spring season. Gipple has served as an assistant coach for the Siena Heights University cross country and track and field programs since 2024. During his time with the Saints, he has coached two conference champions, five national qualifiers, and one All-American. His athletes also include five All-Conference selections and one program record holder. As a student-athlete at Siena Heights, Gipple competed in track and field and compiled an accomplished career. He earned four All-American honors, captured two conference championships, received 12 All-Conference selections, and qualified for seven national championships.

Adrian Rakipi was hired on as new Assistant Coach of Adrian College Men's Soccer in May 2025. A current USL League Two player and an experienced youth coach, Rakipi brings a well-rounded background as both a collegiate athlete and a leader in player development. Rakipi, a native of Livonia, completed his Bachelor of Business Administration at Saginaw Valley State University in May 2025, where he played two standout seasons for the Cardinals men's soccer team. He previously captained Schoolcraft College's team to a conference and regional title and has been involved in coaching roles with elite programs including Coerver Coaching Michigan, Vardar MLS NEXT, and Liverpool FC International Academy. In addition to his playing and coaching experience, he holds a USSF National 'D' License and Coerver Youth Diploma, further strengthening Adrian College's commitment to excellence in its soccer program. Adrian College men's soccer looks forward to the leadership, energy, and experience Rakipi will bring to the Bulldog club.
