In those three seasons back at his alma mater, Rundle has guided the Britons to an overall record of 17-13 (9-11 MIAA). Rundle guided three second-team All-MIAA selections in 2025, including Adam Mills and Alex Olenik on defense. Mills had a career year with an MIAA-leading 116 tackles, including 11.0 TFL and four sacks, three forced fumbles and two pass breakups. It was the first 100-tackle season for Albion since Jose Rodriguez recorded 107 in 2017 and the most in a single season since Brett McCarty's 131 in 2013. Mills also became the first Briton since at least 2001 to record 100 or more tackles and 10 or more TFL in a single season. Olenik totaled 55 tackles, including 15.0 TFL and 7.5 sacks, after missing the final eight games of 2024 with a season-ending injury. His TFL total ranked second in the MIAA, and his sack total was third-best in the conference. Albion went 7-3 in 2024 and were led by an offense that was ranked No. 5 overall in Division III in passing yards per game, with 320.4. Seven Britons earned All-MIAA honors, while two earned D3Football.com All-Region recognition. In Rundle’s first season at the helm in 2023, Albion recorded a 7-3 record and the No. 1 defense in the MIAA in a host of categories – including third down defense (33.5%), red zone defense (62.1%), rushing defense (87.6) and sacks per game (3.50). The Britons were led by MIAA Defensive MVP Nick Fannon, who set the program’s single-season sack record with 12.5. He was also named second-team All-America by D3Football.com and the AFCA. Nine individuals earned All-MIAA recognition, while four received a spot on the D3Football.com All-Region squad. James Bloomfield also became the 16th Academic All-American in program history, recognized by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). Before returning to his alma mater, Rundle was the head coach/defensive coordinator at Sewanee (also known as the University of the South) from 2017-22. In his six seasons with the Purple and White, he coached 28 All-Southern Athletic Association (SAA) selections. Rundle’s Tigers teams were also stellar in the classroom, as 147 of his student-athletes were selected to the SAA’s Academic Honor Roll. Additionally, 13 were named into the Hampshire Honor Society by the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame. He also hired the program’s first ever female assistant football coach. Sewanee's 2022 campaign saw the Tigers post wins over St. Scholastica (Minn.) and Westminster (Mo.), and seven Tigers were named All-SAA. In the classroom, the program saw 24 named to the Academic Honor Roll and five earning Academic All-District® honors by the College Sports Communicators (CSC). In 2021, Sewanee saw one player named to the All-SAA team and a program-record 37 to the SAA Academic Honor Roll.   Sewanee played a limited schedule in 2020-21 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In the classroom, 26 student-athletes were named to the SAA Academic Honor Roll.  The Tigers’ 2019 season saw some ups and downs, as Rundle started over 30 freshmen on both sides of the ball during the campaign.  Five athletes were selected to the All-SAA Team that season. Additionally, 19 players were listed on the SAA Academic Honor Roll and two were named to the Hampshire Honor Society.  In May 2019, the Tigers had the opportunity to travel to Greece and Italy for an overseas trip with Global Football Spring Tours. The Tigers’ 2018 campaign saw the team improve to four wins. Their biggest victory of the season came when Sewanee reclaimed the Orgill Cup over their rival Rhodes for the first time since 2011. The historic rivalry dates its roots back to 1899, as it is the south’s longest continuously running college football rivalry. Eight players were honored on the All-SAA team, while 20 were listed on the Academic Honor Roll. Additionally, four student-athletes were honored to the Hampshire Honor Society. In his first season with the Tigers in 2017, Rundle's defensive play-calling helped the Tigers to improvements in seven of nine statistical categories. The statistic that saw the most improvement was interceptions, as Sewanee totaled 21 – the tenth-most in Division III compared to six the year prior. One player had six interceptions, while two had five picks each. Rundle coached seven players to All-SAA honors that season, including SAA Newcomer of the Year William Phillips, who started his collegiate career with a 98-yard fumble recovery for a touchdown – the longest in the modern era of Sewanee football. Phillips also became the second SAA Newcomer of the Year for the program.  Rundle also coached three players to conference player of the week honors, tying the most in a season since 2008. On the academic side, the Tigers totaled 18 student-athletes to the SAA Academic Honor Roll. Three were named to the Hampshire Honor Society.  Rundle came to Sewanee after serving as the defensive coordinator and head strength and conditioning coach from 2011-16 at Illinois Wesleyan University under head coach Norm Eash. In that span, the Titans had a combined record of 42-20 and earned NCAA Division III playoff appearances in 2011 and 2013. Twenty-six players received All-College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) honors. During Rundle's tenure, the Titans were among the nation's best in scoring, rushing, passing and total defense. In 2016, the Titans ranked 35th or better in Division III in eight defensive categories which included being the top-ranked program in total defense and fourth-down defense. In 2015, Rundle helped guide Illinois Wesleyan to top-33 rankings in 10 national statistical categories. Under Rundle's leadership, two players earned AFCA first-team All-America honors at defensive end while one earned AFCA third-team All-America accolades at cornerback. Prior to his time at Illinois Wesleyan, Rundle served as a defensive coach at Penn State University for seven seasons from 2004-10 under College Football Hall of Fame coach Joe Paterno. Rundle was a defensive line graduate assistant during his first three seasons in State College before transitioning over to defensive quality control coach assisting primarily with the secondary and linebackers as well as being the assistant recruiting coordinator. While with the Nittany Lions, Rundle was on staff for two co-Big Ten title teams (2005 and 2008) and six consecutive bowl game squads (2005-10) – including an Orange Bowl victory in 2005. Penn State won 11 games three times during that span. Rundle graduated from Albion in 2002, where he was a four-year letterwinner under his father, Craig, who served at the helm of the Britons from 1997-2018 and is the program’s all-time winningest coach. A two-time All-MIAA quarterback, Travis was a member of three MIAA championship teams who set a number of single-season passing records, including records for completions (183) and attempts (329). He also threw for a program-record six touchdowns against Olivet in 2000. Rundle and his father were inducted into the Albion Athletics Hall of Fame in 2024. After graduating, he remained at Albion as an assistant coach for a season, helping with the linebackers and with recruiting, before becoming wide receivers coach at St. Mary's College in Moraga, Calif. for the 2003 season before leaving after the school dropped its football program. Rundle and his wife, Sarah, who serves as the Assistant Director for Student Success at Albion, are the parents of two sons, Tyler and Grant, and a daughter, Rachel.

Nathan Eberle begins his first year as an assistant coach for Albion College in the 2024-25 season. Eberle played four years of collegiate golf at Bluffton University, where he recorded one of the lowest 18-hole scores in the program's history since its return.  Before joining Albion, Eberle worked as an assistant golf professional at Shawnee Country Club for six months. He holds a degree in Sports Management from Bluffton University.

Albion, Pass Game Coordinator/Wide Receivers Coach Rico Wallace finished his third season as pass game coordinator/wide receivers coach at Albion in 2025. Wallace mentored Cameron Moore to a career year in 2025, ranking in the top 10 in the MIAA in catches (52), yards (620) and receiving touchdowns (5). In 2024, Albion's receiving corps helped their passing offense rank No. 5 overall in Division III with 320.4 yards per game. Wallace helped mentor Dilon Dennison to a second-team All-MIAA season in which he led the team with 41 receptions for 527 yards and seven touchdowns. Aiden Adams also finished eighth in the conference with 570 receiving yards. Under Wallace's tutelage in 2023, Kye Bristow earned third-team All-Region honors from D3Football.com after catching 64 passes for 913 yards and 11 touchdowns. He also had four 100-yard games throughout the season. Wallace came to Albion after six seasons alongside Albion head coach Travis Rundle at Sewanee (also known as the University of the South) from 2017-22. For his first four seasons, Wallace was the Tigers' wide receivers coach before being promoted to offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach prior to the 2021 season. He also served as recruiting coordinator during that span. He led meetings and on field instruction for the quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs and tight ends and was the Athletics Diversity, Equity and Inclusion chair while with the Tigers.  In 2016, Wallace coached the running backs at Wartburg College in Iowa under Rick Willis, the winningest coach in program history. Wallace coached the tight ends at Illinois Wesleyan University during the 2015 season. A 2012 graduate from Shenandoah University with a sport management degree, Wallace was a four-year letterwinner and three-time all-conference wide receiver from 2008-11. He rewrote the record books during his time with the Hornets, setting a number of school marks including most receptions in a career (189), season (67) and game (12); most receiving yards in a career (3,287) and season (1,241); and touchdown catches in a season (14) and game (5). For his efforts, Wallace was inducted into Shenandoah's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2025. Wallace signed as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers in 2012, sharing a wide receiver room with five-time Pro Bowler Steve Smith Sr. In 2013, he played for the CFL's Edmonton Eskimos. After being released each of those years due to medical reasons, Wallace returned to Shenandoah where he served as an assistant wide receivers coach from 2012-14. A Hanover, Md. native, he graduated from Meade High School in 2008. Wallace also received a master's degree in sports psychology from Illinois State University in 2016. In 2023, Wallace was part of the Bill Walsh Diversity Coaching Fellowship program with the New York Jets during the team's training camp and preseason. Wallace and his wife, Nysha, have two daughters, River and Nia. Nysha is Albion College's Success Coach for Accessibility and Case Management.

Albion, Special Teams Coordinator/Linebackers Coach Bryan Sander was promoted to defensive coordinator in 2026. In his first season at Albion in 2025, he was special teams coordinator/linebackers coach. He will continue to keep his role as linebackers coach as well. Sander, who started at Albion in mid-August of 2025, mentored two D3football.com All-Region players in returner Braden Fracassi (second team) and long snapper Garrett Whiting (third team). The duo were the first returner and long snapper to ever earn All-Region honors for the Britons. Fracassi combined for 448 kick/punt return yards, which ranked fourth in the MIAA and top 100 in Division III. He was also second in the conference and 37th in Division III in yards per punt return (9.8) and first in the MIAA and eighth in Division III in total punt return yards (246). Fracassi also played every special teams snap and helped the Britons rank in the top four in the MIAA in kickoff return average (19.76) and punt return average (9.46) while tying for second on the team with five special teams tackles. Whiting was perfect on every snap and was a key component to the success of kicker Logan Grwinski, who tied for fifth in Division III in field goals made with 12. Grwinski was also one of 11 kickers in Division III to make 12 or more field goals this season and tied for first in the MIAA in field goal percentage (.667). Grwinski kicked four field goals against Rose-Hulman and Trine, becoming the first kicker in Albion history to make four field goals in back-to-back games and tied the record for most field goals made in a game from 1998.  Sander arrived in Albion after a three-year stint at Millikin University in Decatur, Ill. where he served as their defensive coordinator and linebackers coach. Throughout his tenure with the Big Blue, six of Sander's defenders earned All-CCIW recognition including the conference's Co-Defensive Player of the Year, Alexander Perkins, in 2022. That year, Perkins led Division III in sacks per game (1.8) and tackles for loss per game (2.8) after compiling 54 tackles, 28.5 TFL, 18.0 sacks and four forced fumbles. In Sander's first two seasons with the Big Blue, his defense was top 40 in Division III in tackles for loss per game. In 2024, Millikin scored four defensive touchdowns which was tied for the most in the competitive CCIW with national powerhouse North Central. Prior to Millikin, Sander spent eight seasons at Southern Oregon University from 2014-21. The Raiders enjoyed their only double-digit win seasons in program history (2014, 2015, 2017) when Sander was on staff, including a 2014 season where they won the NAIA national championship. In total, eight of Sander's players in his position groups earned All-Frontier Conference honors during his time in Ashland. From 2018-21, Sander served as SOU's defensive line coach where three members of his unit made the All-Frontier Conference team including Sean Rogers, who graduated second all-time in program history in career sacks. In 2017, Sander was named cornerbacks coach and special teams coordinator where the team enjoyed a 12-1 season and made the NAIA playoffs after new coach Charlie Hall arrived. The Raiders' kicker, Marcus Montano, holds SOU's career record for PATs made in a career and was named second-team All-Frontier Conference that season. From 2014-16, Sander served as linebackers coach under Craig Howard, who was Heisman Trophy winner Tim Tebow's head coach at Nease High School in Florida. From 2014-15, the Raiders compiled a record of 24-5 record and made the NAIA playoffs both seasons, which included an NAIA national title in 2014. During those three seasons, four of Sander's linebackers earned All-Frontier Conference honors. He helped develop two of the top four leading tacklers in program history and mentored Laurence Calcagno to a single season school-record 154 tackles in 2014. Before Southern Oregon, Sander spent the 2013 season at Division II Humboldt State University in Arcata, Calif. as cornerbacks/assistant special teams coach. Prior to his time on the West Coast, Sander spent two seasons from 2011-12 at his alma mater, Mount St. Joseph University, as running backs/wide receivers coach. In 2012, Sander mentored James Clay to one of the greatest single seasons in Lions history as he led all of Division III with 2,124 rushing yards. He also set the program's single-season all-purpose yards record with 2,520. As a team that season, MSJ ranked 14th in Division III in rushing yards per game (256.8) and recorded a program-record 473 yards and six touchdowns on the ground in a game against Anderson. Sander began his coaching career as defensive backs coach at Mayville State University in North Dakota from 2008-10.  The Cincinnati, Ohio native graduated from Mount St. Joseph in 2007 with a degree in business management. He also played defensive back on the football team for two seasons from 2005-06 after transferring in from Tiffin University. Sander is married to his wife, Kelsey.

Albion, Defensive Backs Coach Karl Featherstone finished his third season as defensive backs coach at Albion in 2025. In his first season coaching for the Britons in 2023, Featherstone's defensive backs helped Albion to the No. 1 defense in the MIAA in a host of categories – including third down defense (33.5%), red zone defense (62.1%) and rushing defense (87.6). That year, he mentored Larry Platt to third-team All-Region from D3Football.com and first-team All-MIAA honors. Platt covered some of the best receivers in the conference and tallied 44 tackles, 5.5 TFL, five passes defensed and an interception. Prior to Albion, Featherstone spent over 30 years coaching football at various levels. Most recently, he spent time as an assistant coach at De La Salle High School in Warren, Mich. from 2020-22. He helped the Pilots to three straight MHSAA Division 2 state championship games in that span, including winning titles in 2021 and 2022. From 2016-18, Featherstone coached Oakland University's club football team serving in a variety of roles which included assistant head coach, offensive coordinator and special teams coordinator. He helped the Golden Grizzlies win the National Club Football Association (NCFA) National Championship in 2016. Featherstone was a coaching consultant at Martin Luther King High School in Lithonia, Ga. for four seasons from 2012-15. In 2012, the Lions went 11-1 and made it to the regional finals of the GHSA 5A state playoffs. They also made the playoffs again the following season. Throughout his time at King, two players (DeAngelo Malone and Terez Hall) played in the National Football League.  Two of Featherstone's coaching stints came in arena football, which played its seasons in the spring. From 2006-07, he served as special teams coordinator and head coach of the Great Lakes Indoor Football League's Port Huron Pirates and helped lead them to a league championship in 2006. In 2007 as the head coach, Featherstone took Port Huron to the playoffs, this time losing in the title game and was named the league's coach of the year. From 2008-09, he was the head coach for the Saginaw Sting who competed in the Continental Indoor Football League (CIFL). In their inaugural season in 2008, the Sting won the CIFL championship. The Indianola, Miss. native graduated from Gentry High School in 1981 before playing wide receiver at Texas Southern University from 1981-84 where he was a member of the Alpha Phi Alpha fraternity. After earning a computer science degree, Featherstone signed a free-agent contract with the St. Louis Cardinals of the NFL in 1985, where he was on both their active roster and practice squad. He also briefly played for the USFL's Houston Gamblers in 1986 before the league folded, where future Pro Football Hall of Famer Jim Kelly was the starting quarterback. After an injury forced him to retire from playing football, Featherstone joined the United States Marine Corps. While he saw active combat in Grenada, Panama and in the first Iraq war, he began his coaching career with the All-Marine team. He was also deployed in the Western Pacific and Indian Oceans aboard the USS Ranger which was based in San Diego. Featherstone began coaching high school football in Michigan in 1990, first at St. Clair Shores Lakeview, and then as an assistant at Royal Oak Kimball and Royal Oak Dondero, as well as De La Salle. Featherstone was a police officer for the city of St. Clair Shores for 25 years before retiring in 2015. He also earned a master's in criminal justice from Purdue University in 2009. Him and his wife, Lorie, have a son, Kadin, who played football as a lineman at De La Salle and then collegiately at Butler.

Coach Daley Hometown San Francisco, Calif. Albion, Offensive Line Coach Thor Daley begins his first season as offensive line coach at Albion in 2026. Daley arrives in Albion after spending the 2025 season as run game coordinator at Adrian where he coached the offensive line. The Bulldogs finished with an 8-2 record, their best mark since 2014. Adrian racked up a school record 30 touchdowns on the ground with Daley managing all aspects of the run game. They also ran for 181.7 yards per game — a 59-place improvement in the national rankings and a 38.6 swing from the year prior. Additionally, the Bulldogs averaged 5.0 yards per carry — 1.1 yards more than their previous campaign. The run game helped compliment Adrian’s high-powered offense that averaged 40.7 points and 461.9 yards per game, both of which were top 25 in Division III. First-team All-MIAA quarterback Noah Beaudrie and running back Trey Brueggemann each rushed for double-digit touchdowns as well, while all-conference offensive linemen Joe Pruchnic and Isaiah Simon paved the way for the duo. In 2024, Daley served as assistant offensive line coach at Saginaw Valley State. While with the Cardinals, two offensive linemen earned All-GLIAC honors blocking for quarterback Mason McKenzie, who was named GLIAC Freshman of the Year. SVSU finished the year 7-4 and has the No. 3 red zone offense in Division II at 92.0%. They also ranked top 50 in the country in scoring and rushing offense. Daley spent the 2022 season as offensive line coach/run game coordinator at Lincoln University, an independent in Oakland, Calif. Playing all 10 games on the road against opponents from around the country, the Oaklanders averaged 151 rushing yards per game against the five FCS schools they faced. From 2020-21, Daley coached at Eastern Kentucky University. He was an offensive quality control coach assisting the offensive line, tight ends and special teams in 2020 and was the assistant director of football operations in 2021. As a member of head coach Walt Wells’s staff in 2021, Daley oversaw travel and equipment for a team that had their biggest single-season turnaround in program history. The Colonels went 7-4 after a 3-6 campaign the year prior and defeated three teams ranked in the FCS preseason top 25 poll. EKU climbed as high as No. 19 in the national rankings and won five straight games for the first time since 2014. They also defeated Jacksonville State in double overtime to win its second consecutive Opportunity Bowl. In 2020, the Colonels ranked in the FCS’s top 25 in first down offense and passing offense. They were also named national team of the week three times and racked up 590 yards of total offense in their 49-17 victory over Western Carolina in the Opportunity Bowl. The unit also totaled 400 yards or more of offense in six of the final seven games of the season. Daley served as an offensive graduate assistant working with the tight ends at Wisconsin-Stout during the 2018 and 2019 seasons. In 2018, he mentored freshman Tyler Seymour to second-team All-WIAC honors. Seymour averaged 20.23 yards per catch, which was top 25 in Division III. During the 2017 season, Daley was the assistant offensive line coach at Trine. The Thunder averaged 329.6 yards per game on the ground, which was the fourth-best rushing attack in Division III. A four-year offensive lineman on the Trine football team from 2013-16, Daley graduated with his bachelor’s of science in business management in 2017. The San Francisco, Calif., native graduated from Sacred Heart Cathedral High School in 2013 and was named second-team all-city as a senior. Additionally, Daley does remote work for Sports Info Solutions as a football video scout writing NFL Draft scouting reports.

Albion, Cornerbacks Coach Bobby Willis enters his first season as cornerbacks coach at Albion in 2026. Willis is no stranger to Albion. He was a three-year defensive back for the Britons from 2021-23 and was a member of the 2021 team that won an MIAA title. During his time with the Britons, Willis appeared in 29 games with 66 tackles, including three TFL, 10 pass breakups, three forced fumbles and six interceptions. He earned MIAA Defensive Player of the Week honors after notching a career-high six tackles and intercepting a pass to seal a victory over Wisconsin-Eau Claire in 2021. Voted a team captain as a senior, Willis was also elected vice president & director of community outreach for Albion's Alliance of Black Brits International Living Community as a student. Additionally, he received the Community Service Award from Albion in 2024 for his outstanding leadership and community involvement. Willis continues to volunteer with various schools and community projects around the Jackson area. From 2019-20, Willis played at Northern Michigan where he appeared in six games before transferring to Albion. The Jackson, Mich., native was a standout football and basketball player at Lumen Christi High School graduating in 2019. He was a three-time MHSAA state champion as a defensive back and earned all-state and all-city honors twice. Willis graduated with his bachelor's from Albion in 2025 with a degree in economics & management. He founded his own athletic training company, B Elite, based in Jackson specializing in individualized athletic development for athletes of all ages. He has trained and developed athletes who have earned over 100 combined collegiate scholarship offers. Willis's older brother, Khari, was a four-year letterwinning safety at Michigan State and was selected in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts. He played in 39 games for the Colts from 2019-21 before retiring.

Albion, Offensive Coordinator/Quarterbacks Coach Stephen Wasil finished his seventh season as offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach at Albion and 14th overall as a coach with the program in 2025. Wasil's offenses is consistently one of the most high-powered attacks in the MIAA. In his tenure as offensive coordinator, the Britons have led the conference in passing offense four times, total offense three times and scoring twice.  They have also averaged over 400 yards of total offense and over 30 points per game in six of his seasons calling plays while producing four MIAA Offensive MVP selections. During a transition season in 2025, Alex Trudell rushed for 805 yards and nine touchdowns which were top-five in the MIAA. Additionally, it was the most yards on the ground from a Briton since 2015. In 2024, Albion had the No. 5 passing attack in Division III with an average of 320.4 yards per game and led the nation in completion percentage (75.3%). Quarterback Luke Lovell was named second-team All-MIAA after throwing for 2,924 yards and 29 touchdowns, both of which were top-20 in all of Division III. Additionally, he was third in Division III in completion percentage (75.0%). Lovell also earned second-team All-MIAA honors in 2023 by throwing for 2,750 yards and 22 scores, which both ranked third in the conference. Wide receiver Kye Bristow received D3football.com third-team All-Region after catching 64 passes for 913 yards and 11 scores. Four offensive players received All-MIAA recognition in 2022, as Albion went 9-1 and narrowly missed out on a league title and NCAA playoff berth. Lovell and Jack Bush both commanded Division III's ninth-best passing attack at 306.5 yards per game, while Bush garnered second-team All-MIAA honors. First-team D3football.com and All-MIAA wide receiver Mark Tocco led the conference with 977 receiving yards and 10 scores, which were also top-30 totals in Division III en route to MIAA Offensive MVP honors. In 2021, six Britons received all-conference recognition on the offensive side of the ball after Albion won its second consecutive MIAA title. The attack was headlined by D3football.com All-American and MIAA Offensive MVP Justin Thomas, who became Albion's first 1,000-yard receiver. He totaled 1,113 yards and 12 touchdowns, both of which were tops in the MIAA and top-25 in Division III, en route to becoming Albion's all-time leading receiver. Bush was named first-team All-MIAA with 27 touchdowns through the air and 2,228 yards. During the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign, Bush was named MIAA Offensive MVP. The Britons finished the abbreviated season 3-0 and won their 37th MIAA title. In those three contests, the offense averaged 484.0 yards of total offense and 369.0 passing yards which were both tops in the MIAA and top-10 in Division III.  Wasil was promoted to offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach with the hiring of Dustin Beurer as head coach in 2019. In his first season calling plays, Wasil's offense finished in the top two in the conference in passing yards (219.2), rushing yards (235.3), total offense (454.5) and scoring (42.9) per game. Thomas broke the single-season receiving touchdown record with 17, while Bush and Thomas's brother, Kyle, both saw time at quarterback. From 2013-18 under former head coach Craig Rundle, Wasil served as the Britons' quarterbacks coach.  In 2018, the Albion attack averaged 44.1 points and 534.2 yards per game, both of which ranked in the top 10 in Division III. Kyle Thomas led the MIAA in passing yards and threw for a school-record 466 yards against Franklin. Wasil was instrumental in the development of Albion's all-time leading passer, Dominic Bona. The three-time All-MIAA quarterback broke 11 program records, including most passing yards (8,824) and passing touchdowns (84) in a career. In 2015, Bona helped lead the Britons to an MIAA title after setting the single season record for passing touchdowns with 34 en route to earning MIAA Offensive MVP and D3football.com third-team All-Region honors. The offense also had the second-most yards per game in all of Division III (559.7). Albion led the MIAA in total offense in 2013 and 2014 as well with Bona at the helm. In 2013, Wasil and then offensive coordinator Beurer implemented an uptempo spread system which suited Bona's style of play and allowed him to flourish after previously running a run-first attack which helped lead Albion to an MIAA championship. Before returning to Albion, Wasil spent six seasons playing at various levels of arena football. His most successful season came in 2012 with the Tampa Bay Storm, as he started all 14 games and threw for 3,664 yards and 71 touchdowns while finishing second in the league with 19 rushing scores. The year prior with the Kansas City Command, Wasil started the final five games of the season and threw for 1,385 yards and 26 touchdowns. While playing in arena football, Wasil served as an extra in the movie Touchback staring Kurt Russell. Right after graduation, Wasil served as wide receivers coach for Albion before continuing his playing career in arena football. That season in 2006, Peter Shaw was named first-team All-MIAA after posting 40 catches for 764 yards and seven scores. A standout three-year starting quarterback at Albion, Wasil graduated as the program's all-time leading passer. In 2005, he was named MIAA Offensive MVP as he racked up 3,313 passing yards and 33 touchdowns en route to a conference title. He remains the Britons' only 3,000-yard single-season passer in program history. Wasil was named second-team All-MIAA after throwing for 1,719 yards and 18 scores as a junior in 2004. He was inducted into Albion's Athletics Hall of Fame in 2018. A Detroit Catholic Central High School graduate, Wasil was a member of the Shamrocks' 2001 Division 1 state championship team. He was inducted into the Catholic High School League Hall of Fame in 2006. Wasil is married to the former Sarah Slamer, who is a fellow member of the Albion Athletics Hall of Fame as a standout volleyball player. They have two children, Amelia Jane and Brady. Wasil's father-in-law is running backs coach Al Slamer, and Albion's head volleyball coach, Kristin Slamer-de St. Aubin, is his sister-in-law.
