In six seasons leading the UW-Oshkosh program, Molenaar owned a .735 winning percentage with a 79-23-17 overall record. Two of his players gained a total of four NCAA Division III All-America awards, nine players were granted 13 all-North Region awards by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA), 16 players achieved 22 all-WIAC first team awards, and three were selected as the WIAC Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Molenaar’s 2015 squad ranked among the top 25 Division III teams in goals-against average and shutout percentage. In 2014, UW-Oshkosh went 14-5-2 overall and won its first outright WIAC title, going 3-0-1 during league play and registering two shutouts in the WIAC tournament. The Titans recorded 12 shutouts on the season, and goalkeeper Sam Gabrilska was selected the WIAC Defensive Player of the Year to highlight five Titans placed on the all-WIAC first team. During the 2013 season, Molenaar led the Titans to a 15-2-4 record, including nine shutouts, and an appearance in the NCAA Division III tournament. Molenaar helped UW-Oshkosh win the major all-conference awards with Tony Starnes claiming WIAC Offensive Player of the Year honors and Karl Bock earning WIAC co-Defensive Player of the Year. It was the first time a Titan had won either WIAC award. Molenaar's 2010 team compiled a 20-1-3 record, shared the WIAC title and reached the semifinal round of the NCAA Division III Championship. The Titans were undefeated through 23 matches, including tournament victories over Carroll University, North Park University (Ill.), Loras College (Iowa) and Calvin College. The Titans concluded the season with 18 shutouts and outscored their opponents by a 62-9 margin. Molenaar was named Coach of the Year for both the WIAC and the NCAA Division III North Region. Molenaar also helped seven Titans achieve All-WIAC first team honors and six earn all-region accolades. Molenaar was UW-Oshkosh’s assistant coach from 2004-08. He also served as the coaching director for FC Green Bay since 2000. Originally from the Netherlands, Molenaar came to the United States as an exchange student in 1988. He played collegiate soccer at NCAA Division II California State University-Dominguez Hills from 1990-92. Along with his certification from the Royal Dutch Soccer Association, Molenaar has an “A” license from the United States Soccer Federation and a premier license from the NSCAA. He has been a NCAA Regional Advisory Committee (RAC) member for the Central Region since 2020 and a United Soccer Coaches Ranking Committee member for Central Region since 2016. He earned a business administration degree from UW-Oshkosh in 2006.

Coach Moller Hometown Dexter, Mich. College Cornell '19 - B.S.     High School Dexter (Mich.) '15 Playing History     2015-16 Cornell (GK)     2016-pre. AFC Ann Arbor (USL II) Collegiate Coaching History 2024-pre. Albion, Assistant Coach Rhys Moller finished his second season as an assistant coach at Albion in 2025. During that season, the Britons had their best campaign since 2006 as they won 12 games and captured the No. 2 seed in the MIAA Tournament. Three Albion players earned USC All-Region honors, while seven claimed All-MIAA recognition. Under Moller's guidance, goalkeeper Tom Veresh notched a 1.18 goals-against average and collected 53 saves. He earned MIAA Defensive Player of the Week honors after holding then nationally-ranked Ohio Northern to a scoreless draw. Moller has also been a goalkeeper for USL League Two's AFC Ann Arbor since 2016, helping the team to NPSL Great Lakes Division titles in 2017 and 2018. They also qualified for the USL2 playoffs five times, including a conference semifinal appearance in 2023. In 2025, Moller began coaching for the club. Moller was a standout goalkeeper at Cornell University, where he was the team's Defensive MVP as a freshman in 2015. That season, he posted a 1.45 goals-against average and .759 save percentage. He recorded 11 saves in his debut at Lehigh, which was tied for second most in a single match over the past 15 years of program history. In the CU Inaria Cup, he saved a penalty kick to preserve his first career shutout in a scoreless draw with Duquesne. He was named the tournament’s Defensive MVP for his efforts. For two seasons, Moller played goalkeeper at Dexter High School, where he helped lead the Dreadnaughts to a regional title and state semifinal appearance as a sophomore. He was named first-team all-district and all-region that season before playing with the CSA Wolves of the U.S. Soccer Federation Development Academy, where he led the team to a Central Conference Championship and a berth in the U.S. Development Academy playoffs. He was No. 121 overall in College Soccer News’ recruiting rankings for the Class of 2015 and No. 10 among goalkeepers. He has had coaching stops at Concordia University (MI), Legends FC, ODP, Michigan Thunder and is the current girls' varsity coach at Dexter High School, as well as a staff coach at Saline FC. Serving as the goalkeeper coach for Concordia's women's team, in two seasons the Cardinals recorded nine clean sheets and 181 saves under his direction. Leading Dexter since 2021, the team has posted an overall record of 43-26-8, claiming a District Championship and regional appearance with Moller at the helm.  The Dexter, Mich. native holds a USSF C license and graduated from Cornell with a degree in agricultural science
