Albright College Women's Field Hockey

Raville enters her second season as an asssistant coach on the Albright field hockey staff. Raville came to Albright following a three-year career at Delaware Valley. Raville capped her career by helping lead the Aggies to a historic season in 2013. Delaware Valley posted school records for overall wins and conference wins as the Aggies finished 13-8 overall and 5-2 in the Freedom Conference. Delaware Valley captured the regular season title in 2013 and earned the top seed in the Freedom Conference Tournament. After falling in the semifinals, the Aggies were awarded with a berth in the ECAC Mid-Atlantic Championship where they recorded the program's first-ever postseason victory. Raville was a three-year starter in the midfield for the Aggies during her playing career at Delaware Valley. She earned her degree in counseling psychology from Delaware Valley in 2014. Raville, a native of Hanover, Pa., graduated from Delone Catholic High School.

Brant was named the head field hockey coach and director of athletic marketing at Albright in May 2012. She previously served as an assistant with the Lions for one season. Brant enters her fifth season as the Lions head coach. The rebuilding process that Brant began in 2012, culminated in 2015 as Albright set school records for victories and advanced to the MAC Commonwealth Tournament for the first time in school history. The Lions finished the season with a 12-9 overall record and a 4-3 record in conference play, which earned Albright the fourth seed for the postseason tournament. The Lions had five players named to the all-conference team, including first-team selections Amanda Smith and Aileen Taylor, which marked the highest number of honorees in school history. In 2014, the field hockey program posted a record of 2-18 overall in Brant's third season as the Lions head coach. Both of the victories came in Commonwealth Conference play as the Lions defeated Widener 2-0 and topped Hood 4-1. In the win over Hood, the team tallied the highest number of goals throughout the season. Additionally, the program had six field hockey players named to the NFHCA Academic Squad. The Lions went 6-13 overall in 2013. The program had its first-ever NFHCA Senior Game participant in goalie Marguerite DeLucas and earned the NFHCA National Academic Award for having a team GPA over 3.0. In her first season, Brant set a then program-record with 10 victories. The Lions ranked as the eighth-most improved team in the nation with a five-game turnaround. Brant, who came to Albright after one year as an assistant at Frostburg State University, is responsible for all day-to-day operations of the field hockey program while also spearheading the athletic department's marketing strategies. As a student-athlete, Brant was a four-year member of the national powerhouse and 2006 NCAA Division III national championship field hockey program at Ursinus. Throughout her four seasons in Collegeville, Brant helped the Bears to a combined 77-13 record, four Centennial Conference titles, and four NCAA tournament appearances. Brant was also a four-year member of the Ursinus womens lacrosse program as well, and served as team captain in her senior year. In 2009, she was named a Centennial Conference Second Team All-Conference honoree, while in her sophomore season she earned all-conference honorable mention recognition. Brant graduated from Ursinus in May of 2010 and earned her bachelors of arts degree in French and Exercise and Sports Science. She earned her masters degree in Education at Albright in 2016.
