Alcorn State University Women's Golf

MacBean, a PGA Golf Professional, is Alcorns Mens and Womens Head Golf Coach, marking his 1st season guiding the Braves. During his coaching tenure as the Mens and Womens Assistant Golf Coach for both Erskine College, SC and University of North Carolina at Pembroke, NC, Coach MacBeans student-athletes have performed well both on and off the field.  Under Coach MacBeans guidance he has helped produce 10 Academic First Team All-Americans, 4 Academic Second Team All-Americans. On the field his production includes; 15 Tournament Wins, 38 Top 5 Finishes, 11 All Conference Players, 2 Conference Championships, 2 NCAA Regional appearances, with his highest rated golf team at 5th in the nation.   Mr. MacBean attended Campbell Universitys prestigious PGM Program, majoring in Business Administration. He is also in process of earning his Masters Degree from Greenville College, MO with a M.A.E. in Coaching.  MacBean has been a Member of both the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) and Womens Golf Coaches of America (WGCA) for several years.
