Susan DeNillo

DeNillo will begin her second season as the head softball coach & first as the Student Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Coordinator. In her first season as head coach in 2015, the Battlers finished with a 13-35 overall record and a 6-22 record in the G-MAC. Prior to AB, DeNillo served as an assistant at Division III Allegheny College. She was in charge of all facets of the recruiting process while also implementing team and individual training. In her time at Allegheny the Gator posted a 28-19 conference record and were a 2013 NCAA Regional Finalist. She coached 10 All-North Coast Athletic Conference players and two All-Region selections. DeNillo is a 2011 Graduate of Clarion University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management with minors in Athletic Coaching and Business Administration.  She played 99 games over three seasons at Clarion University. She was a three-year letter winner and two-time team captain. DeNillo served as the Student Softball Coach for Clarion in 2010-2011. The following year, DeNillo returned home and was the head junior varsity softball coach for her alma mater Penn Trafford Warriors in 2012.  She also was the Head/Assistant Junior Olympic Coach for Metro Express Softball from 2008-2012 in Carnegie, Pa. She organized all practice sessions and taught softball fundamentals to 40 players and coached the team to a number of tournament final appearances. DeNillo received a Masters of Science in Sports Management Studies-Intercollegiate Athletic Administration from California University of Pennsylvania in 2012.
