Alderson-Broaddus College Women's Tennis

Baum enters his third season as the Battlers head women's tennis coach. During the 2015-16 season, AB finished 4-3 in the G-MAC & advanced to the conference tournament before falling to Davis & Elkins, the eventual conference champion. Stephanie Gertsakis & Eva Sever were both named to the G-MAC All-Conference First Team after their successful season in 2016.  The Battlers finished the 2014-15 season with a record of 4-9. He also placed Mireia Fabrega on the the G-MAC All-Conference team. Baum spent two years as the assistant men's and women's tennis coach at Regis College. In his time at the Regis he helped the women claim back to back New England Collegiate Conference Championships.  Prior to his time at Regis, Baum was a volunteer assistant at Goucher College as well as a volunteer assistant at Stevenson University. Baum was a four-time letter winner playing tennis at Goucher. He played top flight doubles while playing in the first, second and third flight singles. He also earned four letters as a swimmer and played a season of men's soccer. Baum graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. He resides in Philippi, W.Va.
