  Hired at AU: Winter of 2006 Prior to AU: Head Coach at Alfred State College Assistant Coach at SUNY Cortland Coached USILA North-South Game: 2015 NJCAA National Coach of the Year: 2001 Playing Career: SUNY Cortland (1992-1993) Corning Community College (1990-1991) Alma Mater: Corning CC '91, SUNY Cortland '94, '00   Jason Lockner was appointed head coach of men’s lacrosse at Alfred University in the prior to the 2006 season. He is the 10th Head Coach in AU men's lacrosse history. He came to AU from Alfred State College, where he served as Head Coach men’s lacrosse and soccer from 1997-2005.  Lockner is the winningest coach in AU men's lacrosse program history surpassing legendary Head Coach Al Brown on the all-time wins list with his 86th win over the University of Dallas in 2018. Also during the 2018 season, Lockner led the Saxons to their first Empire 8 Conference Championship tournament in program history. Coach Lockner also reached his 100th win at AU with the final win of the 2019 season over Elmira College. Under Lockner's leadership, Alfred University had reached the Empire 8 Championship Tournament in each of the previous six seasons. He has coached a total of 10 USILA All-Americans and five ECAC All-Region honorees. The Saxons have totaled 14 seasons in which they have finished with a .500 or better regular season record. A total of four student-athletes have gone on to participate in the USILA North-South Senior All-Star Game.  In nine seasons at Alfred State, Lockner guided the Pioneers to a 75-40 overall record.  In each of the last seven seasons, Alfred State was nationally ranked among National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) teams. Between 2000 and 2005, the Pioneers posted at least 10 wins per season.  In 2001, Lockner was named NJCAA Region III and National Coach of the Year. He coached eight All- Americans and more than 20 All-Region III and Academic All-Americans during his tenure at Alfred State. Lockner was an All-Region and All-American defenseman as well as an Academic All-American while playing at Corning Community College, where he earned an associate's degree in liberal arts in 1991. He transferred to SUNY Cortland, where he was a two-year starter and the team leader in ground balls. He earned a bachelor's degree in health science from Cortland in 1994 and a master's degree in education from Cortland in 2000. Prior to taking the head coaching job at Alfred State, Lockner served as assistant men's lacrosse coach at Cortland from 1993-96. At Alfred State, he also served as men's soccer coach and a physical education instructor. Kelly DuPree

The Alfred University men's lacrosse team announced the addition of Kelly DuPree to their coaching staff as a graduate assistant and offensive assistant coach prior to the 2026 season. DuPree most recently wrapped up a successful playing career with Division I Manhattan University. Dupree was a four-year member with the Jaspers as part of the midfield. Following the 2024 and 2025 seasons, DuPree was honored as an All-MAAC Conference talent. Appearing in 47 career games, DuPree and Manhattan reached the MAAC postseason from 2022-25. During the 2022 season, Manhattan University won the MAAC Conference title following victories against No. 2 Marist University and No. 1 St. Bonaventure University. The Jaspers went on to compete against University of Vermont in the NCAA Tournament. DuPree finished his playing career with 95 points from 64 goals and 31 assists.  DuPree, a native of Corning, NY, graduated in 2025 with his bachelor's degree in management from Manhattan University. His father, Adam DuPree, has served on the Alfred University men's lacrosse coaching staff dating back to the 2006 season.

Hired at AU: 2016 Prior to AU: Assistant Coach at Alfred State College Adam DuPree began his tenure as an assistant coach for the AU men’s lacrosse team in 2006, serving primarily as the defensive coordinator. DuPree was then elevated to the Head Assistant Coach. DuPree has coached many great defensemen for Alfred University over the years, including USILA All-American Jake Spadoni '13 and ECAC First Team All-Region honoree Shane Weber '20. Spadoni graduated from Alfred University as the all-time leader with 143 caused turnovers, setting the program record with 45 caused turnovers during his senior season. Spadoni additionally picked up 196 career ground balls, which is the seventh-highest mark in program history. In 2021, Weber surpassed Spadoni for the career caused turnovers record, registering 154 by the end of his career. Weber tied Spadoni's single-season caused turnover mark with 45 during the 2019 season. Weber was credited with 244 career ground balls, which ranks fourth in program history.  As a team, Alfred University has reached the Empire 8 Championship Tournament in each of the last six seasons. During the 2025 season, Alfred University set the program record with a conference-best 141 goals allowed.  A native of Penn Yan, NY, DuPree was a teammate of AU head coach Jason Lockner at Corning Community College and also played at Herkimer Community College. DuPree was an assistant under Lockner for four years at Alfred State College, where he helped coach four junior college All-Americans. DuPree has an associate's degrees in math and liberal arts from Corning Community College. He lives in Corning with wife Stella, their two sons and a daughter.
