Morrow was hired as the assistant track and field coach at Allegheny College.  Morrow, who will closely mentor the Gator throwers, brings to Meadville a wealth of small college coaching experience, as well as a strong career as a student-athlete. Morrow arrives in Meadville after spending the past two years as an assistant track and field and strength and conditioning coach at Seton Hill University in Greensburg.  He worked closely on developing strength and conditioning programs with athletes from all disciplines on the track and field team, with special attention to the throwers and multis competitors.  In his two years on the Hill, the Griffins broke eight team records, while he coached 38 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship qualifiers, six All-PSAC honorees, and one conference champ and Division-II All-American.  During his tenure at Seton Hill, Morrow earned his MBA , with a concentration in sports management.   Morrow worked as an assistant track and field and cross country coach at Washington & Jefferson College from August 2011-July 2013.  In cross country, he saw four runners during his tenure qualify for the NCAA Division-III Championships, including one All-American, while the Presidents track and field team produced six Presidents Athletic Conference individual champions, four NCAA Division-III national qualifiers, and two Division-III All-Americans, while breaking a total of 11 school records.  In 2012, Morrow earned a US Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) technical certification, after also being certified as a USA Track & Field Level 1 coach and a USA Weightlifting Level 1 Sport Performance Coach.  Before beginning his coaching career in August 2010 as the head track and field coach and assistant junior varsity football coach at Okeechobee County School District in Florida, Morrow was a standout thrower as a student-athlete at Westminster College.  A four-year track and field letterwinner, he graduated as the school-record holder in the javelin, earning second place in the event at the 2009 PAC Championships.   Team captain as a senior in 2009-10, Morrow was a two-time selection to the PAC Academic Honor Roll, which recognized student-athletes who achieve a grade point average over 3.60 during their season of competition.  Morrow is a native of nearby Stoneboro, Pennsylvania, and graduate of Lakeview High School.
