Ambrose University College Men's Volleyball

Armbruster joined the Lions Pride in 2015 and is looking forward to being a part of the Ambrose Family.  Armbruster grew up in Three Hills, AB and played many sports.  He found success in volleyball and played 5 years of Post-Secondary and also had the privilege of playing professionally in Norway for a year, winning a National Championship.  The combination of competition and discipleship is something that I really enjoy, says Armbruster and is what drew him into coaching.  He has been instructing and directing camps and clinics for over 20 years, Head Coached at Prairie Bible College and Lakeland College, and Asst Coached at U of C and most recently Briercrest College (where he was completing a MA in Leadership and Management).  Coach Armbruster also had the chance to coach 5 summers with Team Alberta, winning a NTCC Gold and Canada Summer Games Gold.  He also was an Asst Coach with the Canadian Mens Junior National Team that competed at NORCECA and World Championships.  Armbruster brings his wealth of experience to Ambrose with a passion for growth on and off the court and sums it up by saying, My vision for the program is; Build Christ-like Character. Build Family. Build Championships.
