Wallace helped develop freshman goalkeeper Teal Harrison, who became the programs first-ever Patriot League Rookie of the Year recipient. In her first five seasons at the helm, Teeters has led the Eagles to historic team and individual success. She tied the program’s single-season wins record, coached ten All-Patriot League selections, and helped three players break into AU’s all-time top five for career points, amongst other milestones.  Four seniors from Teeters’ first full recruiting class at AU achieved career milestones in 2025, led by Maddy Spratt. Teeters coached one of the most accomplished attackers in program history, as Spratt reached 150 career points (fourth all-time), 140 draw controls (fifth all-time), and landed second in the record book in career assists (74), all after capping off her senior season with a team-leading 46 points. Additionally, Caleigh Forti reached 350 career saves, while Becca Frank and Alyssa Apuzzo both tallied their 100th point each. Teeters also saw midfielder Reagan Murdoch breakout for a career season, leading the team with 38 goals, adding seven assists, 15 caused turnovers, and 25 draw controls. She was selected to the All-Patriot League Second Team.   As a team in 2025, the Eagles earned a historic win over Lehigh on March 15, defeating the Mountain Hawks 17-10 for the first time since 2013. Later on in Patriot League play, AU went punch-for-punch with #25 Army, falling 16-13 in a back-and-forth battle.  Announced as the program’s 10th head coach on June 9, 2020, Teeters led the team to one of its most successful seasons in program history in 2022, culminating in a record-tying nine-win regular season and the Eagles’ first postseason appearance since 2013. Highlighting the student-athlete success stories of the Teeters’ era is that of Emma Vinall, who graduated in 2022 as the most successful player in program history. An eight-time record holder, including career records in points (259), goals (221), and draw controls (292), Vinall closed her career with back-to-back All-Patriot League First Team selections under Teeters’ tutelage. Both Vinall and classmate Kendall Goldblum were selected for the IWLCA Senior All-Star Game — Goldblum also left her mark in the history books with the single-game draw control record (14), and spots on eight of the program’s all-time top-five lists. Teeters also helped Jordan Mitchell and Hannah Spease to back-to-back Second Team All-Patriot League selections in 2023 and 2024.  In 2023, the Eagles defeated UMBC for the program’s first win over the Retrievers in 20 years, and the Pac-12’s California Golden Bears. A pair of newcomers combined for 60 goals and 74 points, as Kellie Linehan (31 goals, 40 points) and Annabelle Jackson (29 goals, 34 points) finished second and fourth on the team in points respectively, and first and third in goals. In the classroom, Teeters’ teams have set a new standard for academic success in the program. She’s coached three Academic All-Patriot League honorees, five College Sports Communicators Academic All-District selections, and the Eagles were named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad for the third year in a row in 2025. The team also broke a program record in the same season, earning 36 Patriot League Academic Honor Roll distinctions (92% of the team).  A two-time All-American for Boston University from 2002-06, Teeters brings 13 years of coaching experience including seven on the Division I level with stops at James Madison (2006-09), George Washington (2009-10), and Virginia Tech (2010-13) where she was promoted to associate head coach during her final season. Teeters returned to Maryland in 2013 to serve as the National Teams Manager at U.S. Lacrosse. One year later, the Assistant Athletic Director position opened at Garrison Forest School which gave Teeters an opportunity to get back into coaching as the varsity lacrosse coach. Under her leadership, Garrison Forest had its best season in almost 15 years and ranked in the Baltimore Sun’s Top 10. Teeters, who was Lindsay Lewis in her BU days, still ranks fourth all-time in career goals for the Terriers. She received her bachelor’s degree in hospitality in 2006 before joining Team USA from 2007-09.
