Anderson University Men's Golf

Williams enters his second season as Head Mens and Womens Golf Coach at Anderson University.   Williams comes to Anderson with over 40 years of golf experience. Since 2010, he has been a golf instructor at Gray Eagle Golf Course in Fishers. In the 37 years prior, Williams served as Head Golf Pro and greens superintendent at Brockway Golf Course in Lapel.   A PGA member with Life Member status, Williams has received the Indiana PGA Section Junior Leader Award for his work with junior golfers in the region. He has coached or helped 16 junior golfers receive scholarships to play in college, including six Division I players.   He has also coached the Lapel High School and junior high golf teams.   Williams graduated from nearby Elwood High School and attended Morehead State University on a golf scholarship, where he played for two seasons. He and his wife Alice have two sons, Hayden and Brodie, who both played Division I golf.

Bays begins her third season as an assistant men's and women's golf coach in  2015-16.   Bays played varsity golf for four seasons at nearby Lapel High School, where she graduated in 2007. During her junior (2005) and senior (2006) seasons, Bays qualified for the IHSAA state championships.   Following high school, she played collegiately for four seasons at Butler University. She medaled multiple times while at Butler, and was part of the 2010-11 squad that won the Horizon League Championship. That team was the first Bulldogs team to qualify for the NCAA Championships.
