Will Pilat

Head Coach

Will Pilat enters his first season as the Head Men's Lacrosse Coach at Arcadia in 2026. Pilat came to Arcadia after serving as the head coach at Immaculata University for the past two seasons. During the 2025 season, Pilat led the Mighty Macs to the program's first Atlantic East Conference championship, while also coaching the first All-American, conference Player of the Year, and Defensive Player of the Year. Pilat also headed the staff named the AEC Coaching Staff of the Year. Prior to his time at Immaculata, Pilat served as Associate Head Coach, Offensive Coordinator, and assistant goalie coach at Wesleyan University. While with the Cardinals, Pilat helped lead the team to the 2018 NCAA Division III National Championship and four NCAA Division III Championship Tournament appearances. Pilat graduated from Roanoke College in 2016 with a degree in Sports Management, where he was a four-year member of the men's lacrosse team and a two-time USILA All-American. Pilat earned a Master's in Liberal Studies from Wesleyan in 2018.

Corey Elmer

Assistant Coach

Elmer joined the Knights' coaching staff in 2015 following an outstanding collegiate career at Cabrini College, where he was coached by Arcadia head men's lacrosse coache Nick Taylor as a part of a top-10 nationally-ranked program.   Elmer was twice named a First-Team All-American (2013, 2014) and the 2014 Division III Iroquois Nationals Award winner as the divisions most outstanding player by the U.S. Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA). He is the only two-time First-Team USILA All-American in Cavaliers program history. Elmer was additionally named the 2013 and 2014 Colonial States Athletic Conference Player of the Year, and earned all-conference honors in each of his four seasons at Cabrini after transferring from NCAA Division I Robert Morris.   Elmer was also recognized for his work in the classroom as an exercise science and health promotion major, being named to the 2014 USILA Scholar All-America Team and earning a spot on the /Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Team in 2013 and 2014. He was also a three-time CSAC All-Academic selection.   Elmer had a record-breaking senior season at Cabrini, putting up school-record totals of 115 points and 56 assists in 2014, surpassing his own school-record totals of 112 points and 55 assists from 2013. He ranked second in the nation in points per game (6.05), fifth in assists per game (2.95) and 19th in goals (3.11) in 2014.   For his career, Elmer ranks second in Cabrini history with 262 points, while his 138 goals are good for fourth and 124 assists rank third. He is the only Cavalier to record a 100-point season.

Ian Moore

Assistant Coach

Moore enters his second season on the Arcadia men's lacrosse coaching staff in 2017.  Moore comes to Arcadia after earning his bachelor's degree in biology with a minor in coaching from Ursinus College last spring. He saw action in 40 games in the midfield during his four seasons with the Bears, totaling 36 goals and 13 assists for 49 career points. Moore served as a two-time captain for the Bears.    Moore saw action in 17 games for Ursinus as a senior, scoring a career-high 17 goals with three assists for 20 points as the Bears went 14-4 overall, advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament, and finished the season ranked 13th in the final USILA Coaches' Poll.   The Fair Haven, New Jersey native has been on the coaching staff with United Lacrosse since 2013, serving as head coach for travel teams, designing and implementing practice plans for youth and high school players, and working various camp and recruiting events.

Jeff Ocampo

Assistant Coach

Ocampo spent two years as an assistant coach at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) prior to coming to Arcadia last season. At RPI he assisted in all facets of the Engineers program, including practice planning and recruiting. He was a member of the 2014 Liberty League Coaching Staff of the Year after helping lead RPI to an 11-5 overall record and a berth in the conference tournament semifinals. Ocampo coached a pair of USILA All-Americans and two USILA Scholar All-Americans, while a total of seven players earned All-Liberty League honors.   Ocampo was a midfielder at Ursinus College, where he was named a two-time USILA All-American. He was named the 2011 Centennial Conference Player of the Year after leading the Bears in scoring with team-high totals of 36 goals and 10 assists for 46 points. He was additionally named a two-time First-Team All-Centennial Conference selection, and was named a USILA Scholar All-American as a senior.   A native of Palm Coast, Florida, Ocampo first began his coaching on the staffs of the Possums Lacrosse Club and Team Florida Lacrosse from 2007-13, starting as an assistant coach and later serving as the head coach for both programs.   Ocampo earned his bachelors degree in business & economics from Ursinus in 2012, and earned his masters degree in business analytics from RPI in 2014.

Nick Taylor

Assistant Coach

Taylor arrived at Arcadia after spending the two seasons as the top assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Cabrini College, where he was involved in all aspects of the Cavaliers nationally-ranked program. He coached 14 United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) all-Americans, including the 2014 Division III Player of the Year.   Cabrini was ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation in 2014, which saw the Cavaliers go 17-2 following a program-best 11-0 start to the season. Cabrini recorded wins over five nationally-ranked opponents, and advanced to the second round of the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament for the second consecutive season after winning its second straight Colonial State Athletic Conference title.    Taylor began his coach career as the top assistant at Catholic University, where he served as the defensive coordinator and recruiting coordinator from 2009-12. The Cardinals went 39-22 during his four seasons and qualified for the Landmark Conference tournament three consecutive seasons from 2010-12, including a berth in the 2010 Landmark Conference title game. Catholic produced a pair of USILA all-Americans, including the 2010 Landmark Conference Player of the Year. The Cardinals also had the 2012 Landmark and Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Rookie of the Year.   In addition to his coaching responsibilities, Taylor has served in a variety of other capacities at both Cabrini and Catholic. He served as a coordinator of alumni engagement and annual giving while at Cabrini, and served as assistant director of alumni relations (2010-12) and an admissions counselor (2010-12) at Catholic.   Taylor has gained additional coaching experience at the club level, serving as the head coach of Mad Lax in Washington, D.C. from 2009-12 before joining the staff at Main Line Lacrosse Club in Radnor in 2012.   A 2008 graduate of FDU-Florham with a bachelors degree in communication studies, Taylor was a four-year member of the Devils mens lacrosse program on defense. He served as team captain his junior and senior seasons, and was named a First-Team All-Middle Atlantic Conference selection in 2008. Taylor went on to earn his masters degree in public communication from American University in 2009.   A native of Newark, Delaware, Taylor currently resides in Conshohocken.

Jacob Farrell

Assistant Coach

Jacob Farrell, who begins his first season with the Knights’ men’s lacrosse program in 2026, joins Arcadia University’s coaching staff following his hiring by head coach Will Pilat. Farrell arrives in Glenside following a successful three-year stint as the defensive coordinator at Piedmont University in Demorest, Georgia. During his time with the Lions, Farrell helped guide the program to a 35-14 record, including appearances in two USA South Semifinals and one USA South Championship game. Overseeing the defensive unit, he played a key role in establishing three consecutive record-setting seasons for total wins while consistently lowering opponent scoring and increasing turnovers created each year. Farrell also supported the program’s external efforts, promoting the university through social media with an emphasis on growing the Piedmont brand and strengthening the alumni network. Prior to his work at Piedmont, Farrell spent the 2022 season as an assistant coach at Muhlenberg College in Allentown, Pa. He assisted with all daily operations alongside the defensive coordinator, created individualized player development plans across multiple positions, and led the program’s faceoff strategy utilizing advanced technology and modern training methods. Farrell also coordinated a variety of special events, including donation drives, training camps, prospect days, and skill-development workshops. Farrell is a graduate of Susquehanna University, where he was a four-year member of the men’s lacrosse program and helped lead the team to back-to-back Landmark Conference Championships in 2013 and 2014. He earned university and departmental honors and was involved in Phi Mu Delta, Mu Alpha Service Fraternity, and Lambda Pi Eta, while also being named a three-time Landmark Conference Scholar-Athlete from 2012–2014.

Brett Sciascia '24

Assistant Coach

Brett Sciascia '24 begins his second season with the Arcadia men's lacrosse team in 2026. Sciascia was a five-year member of the Arcadia men's lacrosse program, earning First Team All-MAC Freedom honors in 2024 and 2022, while being named Second Team in 2023.  Sciascia graduated from Arcadia in 2024 with degrees in Psychology and Business.

Sam Gindhart

Assistant Coach

Sam Gindhart is entering his first year on staff at Arcadia in 2026. A native of Chester County, Gindhart competed at Bishop Shanahan where he went on to play Division I lacrosse at Fairfield University, graduating in 2019. A standout goalie, Gindhart excelled both on and off the field during his collegiate career. Over the past several years, he has coached a variety of programs along the East Coast, including high-performing high school and club teams in New England. Gindhart will serve as the Goalie Coach for the Knights in the 2026 campaign.

Chris Fleming

Assistant Coach

Chris Fleming joins the Arcadia University coaching staff in a volunteer coaching role in 2026 following a successful tenure at Immaculata University, where he served as an assistant coach working closely with the offense. Fleming’s impact was most notable during the 2025 spring season, where he was instrumental in leading the program to new heights. At Arcadia, he will continue his work as an offensive specialist, focusing on the development and strategic execution of the attack and midfield positions. Prior to his time at Immaculata, Fleming spent two years as the Assistant Coach and Offensive Coordinator at Haverford College. His coaching resume also includes a three-year stint at Russell Sage College, where he helped build the foundation of their offensive systems. A native of Hatboro, Pa., Fleming remains deeply rooted in the local lacrosse community, previously serving as a coach for the Philadelphia-based NXT club lacrosse program. Fleming is no stranger to the MAC Freedom, completing a standout playing career at Misericordia University, where he was a member of the men's lacrosse team from 2014 to 2018. A two-year team captain and four-year starter, he was a prolific scorer, amassing over 200 points and earning all-conference honors. During his tenure, he helped lead the Cougars to the MAC Freedom Title in 2017. Fleming holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Misericordia University and earned his Master’s degree in Organization Management from Russell Sage College.
