YEAR: Sixth in 2025-26 PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Mercyhurst '94 AT ASHLAND UNIVERSITY Roberts is in his sixth season guiding the Ashland University men's soccer team. Ashland finished 10-7-1 overall and 9-4-1 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference in 2024, qualifying for the Great Midwest tournament. In 2023, the Eagles ended at 7-9-4 overall and 6-4-4 in the Great Midwest, reaching the league tournament. The 2022 season saw Ashland win the Great Midwest Tournament, and earn a spot in the NCAA Division II postseason. The Eagles were 12-7-1 overall and 9-5 in the Great Midwest. During the 2021 spring season, Roberts led the Eagles to a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Tournament title, as they rallied to win the last five games of the campaign. In the fall 2021 season, Ashland's first in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, the Eagles were 5-8-4 overall and 5-6-3 in the league. BEFORE ASHLAND UNIVERSITY Roberts came to AU from Urbana University, where he worked as the head coach since 2008. Under his guidance, Urbana became a consistent winner on the conference, regional and national levels. He led the Blue Knights to the NCAA Sweet Sixteen in 2015 and 2016. His soccer team was the first and only team in school history to be selected to the NCAA postseason. In 2017, Urbana was ranked 12th in the nation. Roberts was the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2012, and the Mountain East Coach of the Year in 2016. Urbana boasted the regional staff of the year in 2016. During his tenure at Urbana, Roberts coached 40 players who earned all-region honors. He coached four All-Americans. The Urbana men's soccer team also performed admirably in the classroom. His 2015-16 team had a team grade point average of 3.72. For the Fall, 2017 semester the team grade point average was 3.61. When Roberts began at Urbana the program was a NAIA entrant. It was under his direction that the program took off and eventually made the move to NCAA Division II. Along the way he toughened the schedule and increased the scope of recruiting. Prior to taking over at Urbana, Roberts served as an assistant coach at Wittenberg (2006-2008) and Kenyon (2001). Roberts also enjoyed a stint in professional soccer. He was an assistant coach and the head scout for the Columbus Crew from 1997 to 2001. Other stops along the way for Roberts include Director of Coaching and Player Development, Santa Rosa United, California (2002-2006), Director of Coaching and Operations, Columbus East Soccer Association (1995-2002) and Columbus USISL Professional Team Head Coach (1995-97). Roberts was also the Founder and President of Premier Sports Group International LLC (1997-2010), which directed over 40 overseas tours for approximately 1,700 youth soccer and collegiate soccer players plus professional teams. He organized travel and tournament entry and competition for over 2,000 youth players and parents to Europe over a 13-year period. PERSONAL Married to Korinne Roberts, and has three children - Sebastian, Zavier and Annalia. The family lives in Ashland.  The AU head coach is a 1994 graduate of Mercyhurst University. He played soccer for the Lakers. Coaching Licenses: The United States Soccer Federation National 'A' License, United Soccer Coaches Premier Diploma and The English Football Association Preliminary License. YEAR: Third in 2025-26 PREVIOUS COLLEGE: West Sussex Institute of Higher Education '78, Wisconsin-Stout '90, Shenandoah '14 AT ASHLAND UNIVERSITY This is Dr. Lawless' third season assisting Ashland University's men's soccer program. BEFORE ASHLAND UNIVERSITY Served as Shenandoah's head men's soccer coach from 2006-10. Was head men's soccer coach at Kenyon College from 1998-2004, and was named North Coast Athletic Conference Coach of the Year in 2001. At Heidelberg from 1991-97, was the head women's soccer coach, and was a two-time Ohio Athletic Conference Coach of the Year, and was the Ohio Coach of the Year in 1995. Dr. Lawless also has been an assistant women's soccer coach at Shenandoah (2012-22).

YEAR: Second in 2025-26 PREVIOUS COLLEGE: John Carroll '23 AT ASHLAND UNIVERSITY Felician is in his first season as the Eagle men's soccer program's assistant coach, after serving as a graduate assistant coach in 2024. BEFORE ASHLAND UNIVERSITY Spent the 2023 season as an assistant coach for Notre Dame College's men's soccer team. Interned as an assistant at his alma mater, Brunswick High School, for two seasons. Played at NDC from 2018-21, playing in 49 games and scoring 11 goals. Was named Mountain East Freshman of the Year and All-MEC Freshman Team. United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region second team as a freshman. Named All-MEC honorable mention in 2019. Transferred to John Carroll University for the 2022 season. Played in 20 games, started 15, and scored four goals and assisted on two. Earned second team All-Ohio Athletic Conference and third-team all-region honors.

YEAR: First in 2025-26 PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Ashland '25 AT ASHLAND UNIVERSITY Begins his stint as Eagle men's soccer graduate assistant coach in 2025. As a senior in 2024, led AU with 17 points (seven goals, three assists), and had two game-winning goals. He was second-team United Soccer Coaches (USC) All-Midwest Region, as well as second-team All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference. Became one of the team's top offensive performers in first season in the program, recording seven goals and an assist for 15 points over 19 games (16 starts). Earned second-team All-Great Midwest honors. 2023-24 Great Midwest Academic All-Conference. BEFORE ASHLAND UNIVERSITY In 2022 at Kansas City Kansas Community College, played in 12 games and started 11, and posted three goals and two assists for eight points. Named East Division Player of the Year, second-team all-region and first-team all-conference in 2022. In 2021 at Kansas City Kansas Community College, saw action in 12 games and started 11, scoring 12 points on five goals and two assists. Was second-team all-East Division in 2021.

YEAR: First in 2025-26 PREVIOUS COLLEGE: Ashland '25 AT ASHLAND UNIVERSITY Was first-team All-Great Midwest Athletic Conference as a senior in 2024, ending with an 8-6-1 record, a 1.32 goals-against average and 55 saves. Injury-filled 2023 season finished with second-team All-Great Midwest honors. Record of 6-5-2 with a 1.50 goals-against average, 59 saves and three solo shutouts. Earned 2022 Great Midwest Goalkeeper of the Year and first-team All-Great Midwest honors. Played every minute of 2022 season in goal, going 12-7-1 with a 1.45 goals-against average and 78 saves. Stepped into starting role late in freshman campaign of 2021, going 3-3-1 with a 1.38 goals-against average in seven starts. Had one shutout, made 30 saves and had a save percentage of .750. BEFORE ASHLAND UNIVERSITY As senior, set program records for lowest goals-against average in a season (0.65) and most shutouts in a campaign (14). Member of district-winning teams in 2018 and 2020. Named second-team All-Ohio Capital Conference in 2020. Earned three varsity soccer letters.
