Guy Bourdon
Head Coach
The Assumption Greyhounds posted a 4-10 record overall and a 2-8 conference record in Bourdon's fourth season in charge. Assumption opened up the season with a 22-6 victory over Felician University and beat Franklin Pierce University 28-7 at home on Alumni Day just a few weeks later. The Hounds had back-to-back victories against Molloy University and American International College on Senior Day towards the end of the season. Jack Galvin was named to the Northeast-10 All Conference Second Team while Aidan Boyle found a spot on the Third Team. Patrik McGrath and Anders Ratailla represented the Hounds on the All-Rookie Team. Ryan Healey was named to the 2023 NEILA All-New England Second Team as well. During the 2022 season, Bourdon led the Greyhounds to a 4-9 record while going 3-7 in conference play. They were able to go .500 at home, grabbing wins against Georgian Court, Saint Michael's College, and The College of Saint Rose at Brian Kelly '83 Stadium. The team showed some steady progress in comparison to the season prior. Guy Bourdon enters into his third season as Head Coach in the 2021 season after the 2020 season was canceled after just four games. The Hounds went 2-7 in the 2021 season, defeating Saint Michael's 16-13 ont he road and then beating them again on the road in the First Round of the Northeast-10 Championship. The Hounds went 1-6 in conference. Bourdon was introduced as Assumption's men's lacrosse head coach on January 22, 2019 and brings head coaching experience at Division III Benedictine, along with five years spent as an assistant coach in the NE10. In his first season, Bourdon led the team to an 8-7 overall record and a 5-6 record in the NE10 Conference. The Hounds earned multiple national rankings throughout the season with the highest being 17th. A highlight of the season was when the team defeated No. 9 Tampa 11-10. Seven of the Hounds were named to the NEILA Preseason All-New England Teams, while Bourdon helped Travis Reid and Colby Hamwey earn NE10 honors during the season. Hamwey was also named to the USILA DII Team of the Week for the week of March 5. Bourdon also led Tim Tierney and Sean Laughlin to NE10 All-Conference honors along with Tierney and Brett Jennings earned All-New England Second-Team honors. Courtney Dincecco
Head Coach
In 2023, the Greyhounds posted a 9-8 record while gong 6-6 in conference play. It was an impressive seasons till for Dincecco and the Hounds, as throughout the season they dealt with injuries. Assumption picked up an impressive 16-11 win vs The College of Saint Rose at home on Senior Day. On the road, Assumption battled to defeat No. 24 Southern New Hampshire University 17-16 after a comeback effort and tying the game with less than a second remaining. Jenna Joseph became the first Greyhound to be named to the NE10 First Team since 2019, as she led the conference in assists (49) and points (89). Taylor Degeorge, Caroline O'Connell, and Molly Weind all made NE10 Third Team, while Kailey Butler and Skylar Troyan were represented on the All-Rookie Team. Joseph was also named to the IWLCA First Team All-Region Squad as well as being dubbed an IWLCA Third Team All-American. Degeorge was nomianted for the Northeast-10 Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year, as well as the Female of the Year. In her second season in charge, the Hounds posted a 10-8 record while gong 8-5 in conference play. They picked up six wins on the road throughout the season. Notable victories included a back-and-forth 18-17 victory vs Stonehill College ont he road which was followed up by wins vs American International College and Saint Anselm College. Despite the success, Assumption was defeated by Pace University in the Quarterfinals of the Northeast-10 Championship, 13-12. Courtney Dincecco was named the Assumption University Head Women's Lacrosse Coach in January of 2021. In his first year in charge of the program, she guided the Greyhounds to a 8-4 record while going 7-3 in conference play. Assumption was very consistent throughout the season, going 4-2 at home and 4-2 on the road. Standout victories included a 15-8 win vs Southern New Hampshire University, a 16-4 victory vs Saint Michael's College, and a 17-3 victory vs Southern New Hampshire to win the First Round of the Northeast-10 Championship. COACHING CAREER Head Coach at Ave Maria (2015-2019) Head Coach at Manhattanville Lacrosse (2012-15) Assistant Coach at Manhattan Lacrosse (2011-12) Assistant Coach at Stony Brook University (2010-11) PLAYING CAREER Dincecco is a 2010 graduate of Loyola University in Maryland where she was a four-year letterwinner for the Greyhounds. As a netminder for Loyola, Dincecco was selected as a captain both her junior and senior seasons and was part of the Greyhounds' Big East Tournament semifinalist team her senior year. PERSONAL A native of Bayville, N.Y., Dincecco earned her bachelor's degree in communications and business at Loyola. She later went on to receive her master's degree in Sports Business Management from Manhattanville College. Dincecco served as a member of the IWLCA Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association Planning Committee in 2018. The committee is responsible for planning and organizing the annual IWLCA meeting in Orlando, Fla. which hosts over 400 coaches. She served as the NAIA Women's Lacrosse Executive Committee Secretary from 2017 to 2019. In this role she oversaw the Hall of Fame subcommittee and drafted legislative proposals for the NAIA legislation committee. She also participated on the All-American Selection Committee. Dincecco has also been involved in women's lacrosse at the club and youth levels with Legacy Lacrosse LLC, Scarsdale Youth Lacrosse and Oak Neck Athletics. Brendan Barrett
Associate Head Coach
Brendan Barrett served in his sixth season as an assistant coach with the men’s lacrosse program in 2023. Barrett also serves as the Head Equipment Manager at Assumption. In 2019, Barrett helped lead the team to an 8-7 overall record and a 5-6 NE10 Conference record. PLAYING CAREER Barrett comes to Assumption after a four-year career as a member of the Division III Saint Joseph’s (Maine) men’s lacrosse team Barrett appeared in 63 games over his four years as a midfielder with the Monks 116 points, 38 goals, and 78 assists, 86 ground balls with 11 caused turnovers PERSONAL LIFE A 2018 graduate of St. Joseph’s, Barrett received his Bachelor’s in Exercise Science.
