Head Coach

Tori Roche '20 is in her second season as Babson College head softball coach in 2026. She became just the fourth head coach and first female in the 39-year history of the program when she was hired in August 2024. Roche guided the Beavers to a 26-15 record in her first season and runner-up finishes in both the New England Women's and Men's Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) regular season and tournament. She helped four players earned all-conference and all-region honors, including Moira O'Reilly, who received her fourth straight NEWMAC Pitcher of the Year award. A two-time captain for the Beavers, Roche returned to Babson after starting 101 of 111 career games at catcher from 2017-20. She also helped the Babson pitching staff finish 47th in Division III with a 2.40 earned run average in 2018.  Along with her individual success, Roche helped the Beavers advance to the NCAA Tournament Super Regionals for the first time in school history after capturing the program's first NEWMAC championship in over a decade as a first-year in 2017. The Green and White also reached the conference championship game in 2019.  After graduating in May of 2020 with concentrations in business administration and entrepreneurship, Roche joined the Boston University field hockey program as a volunteer assistant coach and helped them reach the 2020 Patriot League championship game. She moved to Tufts University as an assistant coach in 2021 and helped the Jumbos reach the NESCAC final and the second round of the NCAA Tournament before returning to Boston University as an assistant coach as the Terriers returned to the 2022.
