Clark Summit University Men's Golf

McCarty was named the Head Mens Golf Coach at Summit University in August of 2015. McCarty becomes the first full time Golf Coach at Summit University.   In just his first year, Coach McCarty was able to double the teams win total and finished the year with an overall record of 2-6.   Currently serving as the Director of Athletics and Assistant Mens Basketball Coach, Coach McCarty brings 20 years of experience to the job. His family is known for their plethora of knowledge in the world of golf.  His younger brother, a PGA pro, and Coach McCarty have grown up challenging each other to competitive matches.   I am very excited about the opportunity to invest into student athletes through the game of golf. Golf is an extremely mental game, I am eager to see young men develop into strong golf players both mentally and physically.   McCarty currently resides in Clarks Summit along with his wife and son.
