Kyle Keltner
Assistant Coach
Keltner took over as the Defender men's soccer coach in 2015 and immediately set into motion the foundation of a promising program. He focused his time on recruiting and building into the lives of his players. In his first year, he was able to bring in 13 new players and helped mold a team that was highly competitive in the Colonial States Athletic Conference. Coach Keltner has a knack for communicating on the level of his players, while still demanding the respect fitting for any coach. He has a high knowledge of the game and possess the ability to derive the best schemes that fit his team and their strengths. Despite his on the field efforts, Coach Keltner knows the value of investing in each individual player's life. Using soccer as a tool, he strives to take lessons learned on the field and apply them to life, preparing his players for the world that awaits them after college. Keltner was a standout athlete and was named the Donald Urey Award Athlete for Outstanding Impact on Lancaster Bible College Athletics, where he earned his degree in Student Ministries. He has continued his soccer education as he holds a NCSAA Level 6 license, a NCSAA GK1 license and a NSCAA National Diploma.
