Kyla Dickson
Head Coach
Dickson has been the head coach of the Becker College field hockey program since May of 2015. In just her first season with the Hawks in 2015, Dickson coached Becker to an unprecedented level of success, as the team won their first New England Collegiate Conference Championship since 2009. Becker qualified for the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history, and five Hawks were voted to the NECCs All-Conference Team, including Player of the Year honoree sophomore defender Amy Grenier. It was Beckers best season in seven years. Dickson came to Becker after spending a season as an assistant coach at Ithaca College, and is certified by the USA Field Hockey Association as a Level 1 coach. In addition to her duties with the field hockey program, Dickson also serves as the advisor to the Becker College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Dickson was a graduate of Siena College in 2013, where she was a standout performer on the field hockey team, earning all-academic honors. She is currently studying for her masters degree in Exercise and Sports Sciences from Ithaca College.
