Patrick Robey
Head Coach
Patrick Robey enters his second season at the helm of the Blazers' Baseball program after being named Head Coach by Director of Athletics Scott Little in the summer of 2025. In his first season as the Blazers' skipper, Robey helped lead Belhaven to a second straight NCAA Tournament appearance as the Blazers' secured an at-large bid with a top 25 NPI ranking. The Blazers finished the year 31-15 overall and as runners-up in both the CCS Regular Season and CCS Tournament. Robey saw six players earn All-CCS honors while three earned All-Region recognition. John Wade was named a D3baseball.com First Team All-American, joining Brett Sanchez as the only Blazers to earn the national honor from the Division III outlet. Robey joined Belhaven from Madison Central High School (MS) where he has had strong success in 10 years at the helm of the Jags' program. Most recently, the Jaguars won the MHSAA 7A State Championship this past spring with the championship round hosted at the Blazers' home field, Trustmark Park. Overall, Robey led Madison Central to three state championships overall as he and the Jaguars took home the MHSAA 6A State Title in both 2016 and 2021. Under Robey, Madison Central had a year of national recognition in 2021 following their 6A State Championship as they were named Baseball America's High School Team of the Year and Robey was named the National High School Baseball Coaches Association Coach of the Year. Across his 10 years at Madison Central, Robey has led the Jags to seven MHSAA Regional Championships and his continued success has earned him numerous local Coach of the Year awards including being named the Mississippi 7A Coach of the Year and Mississippi Scoreboard Coach of the Year this past spring. Prior to his tenure at Madison Central, Robey was the Head Coach at Lafayette High School in Oxford for three seasons leading the Commodores to two District Championships and was twice named District Coach of the Year. Robey began his Head Coach career at South Panola High School in Batesville where he spent 11 years leading the Tigers. He was named the Chickasaw Athletic Conference Baseball Coach of the Year in both 2005 and 2006 while at South Panola. Robey's coaching career began with a pair of collegiate stops, serving as a Graduate Assistant Coach at his alma mater, Delta State, for two seasons from 1999-2001 before spending time as an Assistant Coach at East Central Community College in Decatur. Along with his storied coaching career, Robey has spent time working as an Associate Scout for the Colorado Rockies as well as serving as an instructor at baseball camps for Ole Miss and Mississippi State. He also has worked with summer league program East Coast Baseball as a summer league coach and the Cotton States Collegiate League as a coach. Robey's journey within baseball in the Magnolia State dates back to his high school career at Taylorsville High School where he would then go on to play at the collegiate level at Jones County Junior College (now Jones College) and Delta State University. Robey was an All-State third baseman in 1996 while playing at Jones and would go on to put together a strong career for the Statesmen in Cleveland, earning an All-Gulf South Conference nod at shortstop in 1999 while playing under legendary coach Mike Kinnison. Coach Robey currently resides in Madison, Mississippi with his wife Ginger, son Walker, and daughter Cora. Boomer Roberts
Head Coach
Boomer Roberts enters his second season at the helm of the Belhaven Men's Basketball program after being named Head Coach by Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Little prior to the 2025-26 season. In his first season with the Blazers, Roberts led the program to its first ever NCAA Division III Tournament berth by winning the 2026 CCS Tournament Championship with a resounding 92-73 win over LaGrange. Under Roberts' leadership in his first season at Belhaven, the Blazers averaged a program-record 88.2 points per game, tied the single season program record with 159 blocked shots, had the second-most assists in a season (512), second-most steals (315), and third-most three-pointers made (258). Roberts also saw five Blazers named to All-CCS teams with Dan Robinson & CJ Minton earning All-CCS First Team honors, Braylon Dame earning CCS Rookie of the Year honors, Neal Terry earning a spot on the All-CCS Second Team and Benjamin Stewart representing Belhaven on the All-CCS Sportsmanship Team. Roberts became the 12th Head Coach of the Blazers' program and joins Belhaven with an extensive background in college basketball. Prior to joining the Blazers, Roberts spent seven seasons as the Head Coach at Purdue Northwest (NCAA Division II) where he helped build a young program with its most successful campaigns in its first nine seasons. He also helped the program earn their first ever conference tournament berth in the 2020-21 season and helped lead the Pride to four GLIAC tournament berths overall. Prior to his time at Purdue Northwest, Roberts was the Head Coach at Trinity International University (NAIA) for four seasons where he compiled an all-time record of 84-48 (.640). While at Trinity International, Roberts spearheaded a massive turnaround for the program, leading the team from five wins in the 2013-14 campaign under his predecessor, to 30 wins in the 2016-17 season. The 2016-17 season saw Roberts and the Trojans earn a share of the CCAC Regular Season title and saw Roberts named the league's Coach of the Year. That team reached the quarterfinals of the NAIA Division II National Championship Tournament and Roberts was also named the NCCAA Region Co-Coach of the Year. Before his time at TIU, Roberts was the top assistant at Vanguard University in California for four seasons. During his time at Vanguard, Roberts helped the Lions to an NAIA Division I National Championship in 2014 while also helping to recruit and coach four NAIA All-Americans. Roberts was a student-athlete at Vanguard prior to his coaching tenure, where he served as team captain for two seasons. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Communications Studies from Vanguard and also holds a Master's degree in Athletic Administration and Coaching from Concordia University Irvine. Roberts and his wife, Brittney, have three sons: Griffin, Trey, and Jett. Kyle Cedotal
Assistant Coach
Kyle Cedotal enters his second season as an assistant coach for the Belhaven Baseball program after joining the coaching staff ahead of the 2026 season. In his first year in Jackson, Cedotal helped Belhaven to a second straight NCAA Tournament appearance after the Blazers secured an at-large bid to the national tournament. Playing a critical role with both the offense and the pitching staff, Cedotal helped develop five All-CCS selections, three All-Region selections and saw John Wade named a D3baseball.com All-American. A standout pitcher during his playing career, Cedotal graduated from Denham Springs High School in 2012, where he was ranked the 27th-best prospect in Louisiana. He went on to play collegiately at Southeastern Louisiana, where he became one of the top arms in program history. Across four seasons with the Lions, Cedotal posted a 3.06 ERA and held opponents to a .232 batting average over 279.1 innings pitched. His career culminated in 2016, when he was named an All American before being selected in the 20th round of the Major League Baseball Draft by the Colorado Rockies. Following his professional career, Cedotal transitioned into coaching. In 2024 he returned to his alma-mater Denham Springs High School. He led the program to a 23-16-1 record. He also served as a head coach at Vermilion Catholic High School and Slidell High School, gaining valuable experience developing players and guiding successful programs in Louisiana high school baseball.

Caleb Sterling
Assistant Coach
Caleb Sterling enters his second season as a member of the Belhaven Baseball coaching staff having joined as a Graduate Assistant ahead of the 2026 campaign. Sterling helped the Blazers to a second straight 30-plus win campaign and a second straight trip the NCAA Tournament with Belhaven earning an at-large berth with a top-25 NPI ranking. A Vicksburg native, Sterling joined the Belhaven staff after spending time at Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College where he spent time as an Assistant Coach following his playing career. Sterling's playing career started at Hinds Community College where he spent two seasons with the Eagles before transferring to the University of Louisiana-Monroe where he made 24 starts in his final year.

Tristan Pearson
Assistant Coach
Tristan Pearson enters his second season on the Belhaven Baseball staff after an accomplished playing career with the Blazers. Pearson joined as a Graduate Assistant under Head Coach Patrick Robey ahead of the 2026 season. Pearson helped the Blazers to another 30-win campaign in 2026 that included a return trip to the NCAA Tournament. The Blazers' finished the year as runners-up in both the CCS Regular Season and CCS Tournament en route to their NCAA at-large bid. Pearson's playing career was one that paralleled a successful stretch for the Belhaven program. The Biloxi native helped lead Belhaven to their first ever NCAA Tournament appearance in 2025 which culminated in a first ever NCAA Regional victory and first Super Regional appearance. Across his two years with the Blazers, Pearson pulled in multiple conference and national recognitions for his performances. Pearson was named to the ABCA Rawlings All-Region Second Team in 2025 while also earning an All-CCS Second Team nod. The season prior, Pearson also earned All-Conference recognition being named to the league's First Team. Pearson finishes his Belhaven career as the program's joint-all-time HBP leader with 40 across just two seasons of action. One of the best on-base percentage hitters in the country, Pearson also earned the team's 'Anchor Award' in 2024 and 2025 as the team-leader in hit-by-pitches. Prior to playing at Belhaven, Pearson spent two seasons at Jones College. A native of Biloxi, Mississippi, Pearson played his prep baseball at Biloxi High School and was a 6A All-Star selection in 2020.

Eli Britt
Assistant Coach
Eli Britt enters his first year as a Graduate Assistant for Strength & Conditioning at Belhaven University in 2025. In his role, Britt is responsible for designing and implementing training programs for multiple Blazer teams, including football, baseball, track & field, women's basketball, golf and men's soccer. A native of Petal, Mississippi, Britt began his collegiate playing career as a utility player at Meridian Community College under head coach Dillon Sudduth from 2021-23. During his time with the Eagles, Britt had a .742 winning percentage and earned Dean's List honors in consecutive years. He continued his career at Belhaven, playing outfield under head coach Andrew Gipson. Britt appeared in 38 games with the Blazers, recording 25 hits and 27 RBI. He delivered in key moments including two home runs in the 2024 CCS Conference Tournament to help the Blazers reach the semifinals. His standout performance came against Millsaps on March 26, 2024, when he went 4-for-5 with two doubles, five runs, six RBI, a walk and two stolen bases. Britt always stepped up against the rival Majors, owning a career .400 average with eight runs scored and six stolen bases. In 2025, Britt was part of history as a member of the first Belhaven team to reach the NCAA Division III Baseball Championship Tournament, advancing to the Super Regional round and finishing with the program's best overall record since 2011. He hit .333 with a .500 on-base percentage during the campaign and was named to the 2025 CCS All-Tournament Team. Britt earned his bachelor's degree in Sports Medicine: Exercise Science from Belhaven that same year and immediately transitioned into his current graduate assistant role. Away from the field, Britt enjoys lifting, fishing, building Legos and making exercise fun for the student-athletes he trains. His favorite memory as a Blazer is winning the Webster Regional in 2025 and celebrating in a dogpile with his teammates.
