Brian Campbell
Assistant Coach
Brian Campbell joined the Bellarmine University baseball staff as a graduate assistant prior to the 2026 season. Campbell was an assistant coach at IU Southeast in 2025 and helped lead the Grenadiers to a 32-18 record, including 17-6 in the River States Conference, and a berth in the NAIA Opening Round. He was in charge of the outfielders and assisted with the hitters, helping guide an offense that produced a .324 batting average and averaged 8.6 runs per game. With Campbell on staff, IU Southeast saw two outfielders named to the RSC All-Conference Teams and had one recognized on the RSC Gold Glove Team. Campbell served as the associate head coach at Vincennes University from 2021-24. In addition, he’s managed the Madisonville Miners of the Ohio Valley League multiple seasons, leading the college summer league team to their first-ever regular-season championship in 2024. Campbell was a pitcher and infielder at Vincennes the first two seasons of his collegiate playing career and played his last two in Louisville at Spalding University, where he also obtained a bachelor's degree in education. Cambell is a native of Sellersburg, Indiana, and attended high school at Silver Creek.

Seth Sweet-Chick
Assistant Coach
Seth Sweet-Chick joined the Bellarmine University baseball staff as a graduate assistant prior to the 2026 season after completing his collegiate playing career with the Knights. An infielder, Sweet-Chick transferred to Bellarmine for the 2025 campaign and appeared in 47 games with 44 starts. He ranked second on the team in homers (seven), fourth in RBI (26) and fifth in slugging percentage (.430) while being an ASUN Honor Roll recipient. Sweet-Chick is the son of Rick Sweet, a longtime manager in the minor leagues who is the current skipper of the Milwaukee Brewers’ Triple-A affiliate, the Nashville Sounds, and who managed the Cincinnati Reds’ Triple-A affiliate, the Louisville Bats, from 2005-11. Sweet-Chick played his freshman and sophomore seasons at Kansas University, his junior year at the University of Nevada and his senior season at Cumberland (Tenn.) University before playing a fifth season at Bellarmine. At Kansas, he was named to the 2022 Academic All-Big 12 Second Team and the 2020-21 Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team. Sweet-Chick attended high school at Estrella Foothills in Arizona and was ranked the No. 9 player in Arizona by Perfect Game. He was an All-State infielder and also served as a quarterback and kicker of the football team his senior year.

Jaren Brown
Assistant Coach
Jaren Brown joined the Bellarmine University baseball staff as a volunteer assistant prior to the 2026 season. Before arriving at Bellarmine, Brown spent two seasons as an assistant coach at his alma mater Texas Southern University in his hometown of Houston. In 2024, he helped guide the Tigers to the SWAC West Division championship after the team posted an 18-6 mark in conference play. In two years, Brown helped steer Texas Southern to a combined 45 wins, including 33 in SWAC action. The Tigers carried a .611 winning percentage in league play with him in the dugout and ranked 23rd in the nation in stolen bases (127) in 2025 with him as the first-base coach. Brown has extensive scouting and player development experience. He is the founder and CEO of Up Top Prospects, LLC and been a national team identification series coach and scout for USA Baseball, leading American squads to three gold medals and two silver medals as a national team coach since 2018. As a player, Brown competed in the junior college ranks his first two years at Galveston (Texas) College before finishing his career at Texas Southern, where he was a starting outfielder. He was an All-District selection at La Porte (Texas) High School. Brown earned an associate of arts degree from Galveston and a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Texas Southern. He has a wife, Keeli, and two children, daughter Jayda and son Jaren Jr.
