Justin Kinseth
Assistant Coach
Kinseth joined the Benedictine University track and field program in March of 2015 as the recruiting coordinator and assistant track & field coach for the mens and womens programs. Kinseth is a native of the Hawkeye state where he called Independence, Iowa home. In the 2015-16 season, Kinseth helped lead the men's track and field team to their first-ever Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Indoor championship that saw eight male conference champions. The Eagles had three student-athletes in four events qualify for the NCAA DIII Indoor Championships. In outdoor action, the men's team had eight conference champions which led to the Outdoor NACC title. Six student-athletes qualified in five events for the NCAA DIII Outdoor Championships, including the 4x100 relay that was ranked 4th in the nation throughout the season. Justin Kinseth joined the Benedictine University track and field program in March of 2015 as the recruiting coordinator and assistant track & field coach for the mens and womens programs. Kinseth is a native of the Hawkeye state where he called Independence, Iowa home.

Molly Remley
Assistant Coach
Remley (formerly Morrison) was named as head men's and women's cross country coach and assistant track and field coach at Benedictine University in 2008. She was previously an assistant coach for the Eagles cross country and track and field teams beginning in 2005. During her time as an assistant at Benedictine, Remley assisted with the coordination of the 2006 NCAA Division III National Championships hosted by Benedictine. Remley earned collegiate letters in both cross country and track and field while leading both teams as captain throughout her remarkable career at North Central College. She earned citations as a College Sports Information Directors of America Academic All-American in both cross country and track and field. She was a three-time All-American in cross country and track and field, while earning seven conference championship titles and setting four school records during her time as a Cardinal. Remley, originally from Metamora, Ill., earned her bachelor's degree from North Central College in 2004. She is a member of the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association and the Illinois Track & Field Coaches Association. She is USATF Level 1 Certified and a graduate of the NCAA Women Coaches Academy. Kevin Paterson
Coach
Paterson began his position as the Director of Track and Field and Cross Country for Benedictine University Athletics beginning in January of 2015. In his first season at the helm of the program, Paterson saw two of his student-athletes earn All-American status, five qualified for the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) and 13 students won their event at the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) Championship, which included three Field Athlete of the Meet honors. In his second season at Benedictine, Paterson took the Track and Field program to new heights. The men's team won both the 2016 NACC Indoor and Outdoor Championships and the women's team finished in the top three at both. Paterson was named men's "Coach of the Meet" at both the Indoor and Outdoor NACC Championships. Benedictine had three Eagles compete for the 2016 NCAA DIII Indoor Track and Field Championships and six compete in five events for the 2016 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Iowa. Paterson comes to Benedictine after leading both the track and field and cross country programs at Calumet College of St. Joseph in Whiting, Indiana since the summer of 2012. There, he increased the roster size of the programs from five upon his arrival to 77 student-athletes, leading to the development of the most successful track and field and cross country programs in school history on both the mens and womens side and a Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Coach of the Year honor in 2014. His student-athletes hold 36 different school records, tallied six conference runner-ups at the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference finals, and won a conference championship in the mens high jump this past year. In addition, his teams earned NAIA All-Academic honors twice (mens cross country in 2013 and 2013). Since ending his decorated athletic career at Calumet College of St. Joseph in 2009 (where he set eight school records) Paterson has compiled an impressive resume. Before leading the Crimson Wave, Paterson served as Associate Head Coach of cross country and Head of Recruiting for track and field at Bacone College in Muskogee, Oklahoma. At Bacone, his mens cross country team placed second in conference while earning NAIA All-Academic Team honors, both firsts in school history. Prior to Bacone, Paterson served as an Assistant Coach for cross country and track and field at Indiana Tech for the 2010-2011 school year, helping the Warriors win indoor and outdoor conference titles for womens track and field, as well as second place for mens track and field, mens cross country, and womens cross country. In that year alone, Indiana Tech possessed nine All-Americans, five national qualifiers, nine All-Conference student-athletes, and six Academic-All Conference players. Paterson has also done some volunteer work in coaching, helping out at Division I University of Illinois in 2012 and at School City of Hobart in Hobart, Indiana from 2004-2010. Away from athletics, Paterson also served as a Campus Blood Donation Coordinator at Calumet College of St. Joseph for the American Red Cross, as well as serving as Founder and President of a community-based charity: Art for Autism. Paterson and his wife, Kara, live in Geneva.
