Gabe Margolis
Head Coach
Margolis will enter his 11th season as a men's soccer coach at Brandeis in 2016. He was hired as as Assistant Coach in 2005, and was named the Associate Head Coach in the spring of 2013. Under Gabe's leadership, the Judges have won two ECAC titles, and have made four-straight NCAA Sweet 16 appearances, including 2015's run to the Elite Eight in which the team was ranked as high as No. 2 in the nation during the season and No. 3 in 2015. A 2005 graduate of Wheaton (Mass.) College, he came to Brandeis after serving as an assistant at local Division I institutions Boston University and Northeastern. A three year starter at Wheaton, after transferring from Boston College, Margolis served as a tri-captain during his senior season. He holds NSCAA Advanced National and USSF B coaching licenses. For the past seven years, Gabe has also been a coach with the FC Greater Boston Bolts.

Aronson joins the Brandeis staff after two years as an assistant coach at his alma mater, SUNY-Cortland. In his two seasons on the staff of the Red Dragons, they posted a 29-9-6 record and won two State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) regular-season title and one tournament title. SUNY-Cortland reached the final 16 of the NCAA Division III tournament in each of his seasons. In 2023, Aronson was part of the SUNYAC and United Soccer Coaches Region III Coaching Staff of the Year as the Red Dragons went 16-3-3. Aronson played one season at Division I Marist College in 2017 before transferring to SUNY-Cortland. A midfielder and defender, he was a three-time All-SUNYAC first-team selection and a two-time All-Region selection. As a senior captain in 2021, Aronson scored 16 goals with an assist for 33 points. The Red Dragons won the SUNYAC and reached the final 16 of the NCAA Division III tournament as Aronson was named a United Soccer Coaches First-Team All-American.
