Anne Campbell
Head Coach
Annie Campbell will serve as the first varsity head coach of the Brandeis University women's lacrosse team. She joined the Brandeis staff in the Fall of 2025 with an eye towards building a team for the spring of 2027. "We are thrilled to welcome Annie Campbell as the inaugural head coach of women's lacrosse at Brandeis," Chapin said. "Annie brings a proven record of developing student-athletes both on and off the field. Her energy, vision, and commitment to excellence make her the perfect leader to establish this program and set the foundation for lasting success. We are excited for the future of Brandeis lacrosse under her leadership." "The opportunity to build a program from the ground up and establish a foundation that future student-athletes will be proud to join and compete for is truly exciting," Campbell said. "I am grateful to Director Chapin and the department for their trust and support as we begin this new chapter." A 2013 graduate of Mount Holyoke College, where she played goalie on the field hockey team, Campbell has served as head coach of lacrosse at her alma mater since 2022. While on the Lyons' staff, she expanded the team's roster by more than 60 percent over her two seasons and significantly increased their fundraising efforts. Campbell spent the Spring 2022 campaign as an assistant coach at Bates College and served as the head coach at Curry College from 2019 to 2021, earning the program's first Commonwealth Coast Conference tournament berth in seven years in 2020. She was the head coach at Newbury College in 2018. In addition to her B.A. in political science from Mount Holyoke in 2013, Campbell earned master's degrees in Sport Management and in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology from the University of Florida in 2021.

Keelin Severtson
Assistant Coach
Keelin Severtson joined the Brandeis University volleyball coaching staff in August of 2025. Severtson comes to Brandeis from Macalester College in Minnesota, where she was an assistant for the Scots during their 2024 season, when they had their best Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletic Conference finish since 2004 and highest conference win total since 2006. Prior to that, she spent four seasons at Albion College in Michigan, where the Britons produced 15 All-Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association honorees and three All-Region award winners. They earned a national ranking from the American Volleyball Coaches Association in 2022. Severtson's prior experience in New England includes two seasons at UMass Boston in 2018, when the Beacons were Little East Conference co-champions, and in 2019, when they won the LEC and reached the NCAA Division III tournament. "I've known Keelin since her time at UMass Boston, and I'm excited to be working alongside her," said Bennett. "We complement each other well. She understands the approach to working with the kind of student-athletes who epitomize both sides of the coin, like we have at Brandeis." Severtson also served as an adjunct professor in the Department of Kinesiology at Albion and as an interim admissions counselor in her time there. Severtson received her B.S. in Kinesiology from the University of New Hampshire in 2017. As a member of the Wildcats, she was named a captain as a senior. A two-time America East Conference Setter of the Year, she helped guide the team to four America East regular-season and conference tournament titles, reaching the first round of the NCAA Division I tournament.
