Allyson Kenyon
Assistant Coach
Kenyon begins her 14th year at the helm of the Bridgewater College field hockey team. 2015 was the best season in the history of the Bridgewater field hockey program, as the Eagles won their first-ever ODAC championship and earned their first NCAA tournament win with a 2-1 victory at #17 Catholic. Kenyon was named the VaSID State Coach of the Year for a second straight season after leading Bridgewater past #15 Lynchburg in the ODAC semifinals and host Washington & Lee in the championship game. Bridgewater has now won 12+ games in three straight seasons- the three best years at Bridgewater since 1980. Kenyon was named both the ODAC and VaSID Virginia State Coach of the Year in 2014 after leading the Eagles to their first-ever appearance in an ODAC championship game. Bridgewater defeated Shenandoah 2-1 in overtime at the Jopson Athletic Complex to reach the title game, eventually losing 2-0 at Lynchburg. Senior Caroline Augsburger was named a second team All-American, the Virginia State and ODAC Player of the Year, and earned an NCAA Postgraduate Scholarship for her accomplishments in athletics, academics and service. In 2013, the Eagles finished the season with an 12-7 overall record and earned a 6-2 mark in conference play. The 2013 season was the best for the program since 1980, when the team finished with a 14-4-1 record. The 2012 season was highlighted by the program's second straight appearance in the semifinal round of the conference tournament. The Eagles reached the semifinal round of the ODAC Tournament before falling to eventual champion Lynchburg by a 3-1 tally. Kenyon, a native of Harrisburg, Pa., attended Central Dauphin East High School where she participated in three varsity sports: Field Hockey, Swimming and Soccer. In 1996, she was named the school's Most Outstanding Female Athlete for her efforts on all three teams. She continued her athletic and academic career at Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa. where she participated on both the field hockey and swim teams for all four years. She was a three time member of the National Field Hockey Coaches' Association's All-Academic Team and the Mid-Atlantic Conference All-Academic squads for both sports. Kenyon earned her Bachelor's Degree in Politics from Juniata in 2000. Kenyon later earned her Master's Degree in Athletic Administration/Coaching from James Madison in 2005. Emphasizing academic excellence as well as teamwork and competitiveness, Kenyon has had 58 athletes receive NFHCA Division III All-Academic Team honors. She has also coached 12 all-conference first team selections, 12 all-conference second team players, and 35 all-conference third team/honorable mention awardees. Prior to her time at Bridgewater, Kenyon worked in Washington, D.C. for a non-profit organization. She also helped coach the inaugural season of the T.C. Williams Varsity Girls' Lacrosse team.

Krys Ramsdell
Assistant Coach
Ramsdell fills the position that was made possible following Bridgewaters selection as a recipient of the two-year NCAA Ethnic Minority and Womens Internship Grant. Ramsdell assists the department in a variety of functions, aid with the ongoing fundraising for the Nininger Hall renovations and various athletic department fundraising projects. Aside from her administrative tasks, Ramsdell also serves as the Colleges assistant field hockey coach. Prior to coming to Bridgewater, Ramsdell most recently served as the intern in the athletic business office at Division I Northeastern University. During her time in Boston, she served a role with compliance and also helped organize account reconciliations, financial analysis and aided in other special projects in the Huskies athletics business office. During her internship at Northeastern, Ramsdell also was the head field hockey coach at Concord Academy in Concord, Massachusetts and also served as the assistant basketball and assistant lacrosse coach. Before going to Northeastern, Ramsdell worked as a junior admissions counselor and project manager at Worcester State and served as a legislative intern for Representatives James McGovern (Massachusetts) and Niki Tsongas (Massachusetts) as well as with the United States Government Relations International group (USGRI). 2015 was the best season in the history of the Bridgewater field hockey program, as the Eagles won their first-ever ODAC championship and earned their first NCAA tournament win with a 2-1 victory at #17 Catholic (Ramsdell's alma mater). Bridgewater defeated #15 Lynchburg in the ODAC semifinals and host Washington & Lee in the championship game. In 2014, the Bridgewater field hockey team reached the ODAC championship game for the first time in program history, and featured a second team All-American in midfielder Caroline Augsburger. Ramsdell owns a Level II Coaching Accreditation from USA Field Hockey and is also CPR certified through the American Red Cross. Aside from her coaching and administrative background, Ramsdell also was a three-year goalkeeper at Catholic University. During her time with the Cardinals, Ramsdell aided Catholic to the 2010 East Coast Athletic Conference (ECAC) Championship and a 17-4 record during the 2010 season. Ramsdell earned her masters in sports leadership from Northeastern in April. In 2012, she earned her bachelors in history and political science from Catholic.
