Brookdale Community College Women's Cross Country

Alston was hired as head coach for the mens and women's cross country teams in 2014. Alston served as an assistant in 2013 before taking over the programs. Alston graduated from Matawan Regional High School in June 2009. He started his collegiate career at Brookdale Community College as a member of the mens cross country team for the fall 2009 and 2010 seasons. Will competed on the team that advanced to nationals in 2010, in which the team placed 6th overall. Alston received All Region XIX academic honors and Garden State Athletic Conference academic honors after 2009 season. After graduating from Brookdale in spring 2011, Alston transferred to Rowan University. He continued his running career by competing on the cross country and track and field teams. He competed primarily as a sprinter on the track and field team. Will qualified for the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference Championships in the 4x400. Alston received all conference honors for the 2013 indoor season, and New Jersey All Conference academic honors. He received his Bachelor's degree in Radio/TV/Film. Coach Alston currently resides in Matawan, NJ
