Broome Community College Men's Lacrosse

Welsh played alongside assistant coaches Alexander and Gardner taking the Hornets further than any year before. He was awarded regional honors including the MSAC All Conference Team in 2005, Region III All Tournament Team in 2005 and Region III honorable mention in 2006. It was after his second year that he volunteered to be an assistant coach for his former team during the 2007 season. Leaving Broome with an associates degree in LAS, coach Welsh also attended DII Belmont Abbey College. Once again teaming up with Gardner, it was as a Crusader that Welsh earned a conference championship. Welsh graduated from Belmont with a bachelors degree in sports management in 2010.
