Hunter's fourth, with three coming by way of undefeated conference seasons. The team advanced to the national tournament by winning a fourth consecutive NJCAA Region VI Championship by blistering conference foe Johnson County by a score of 5-0. The 2015 team broke the program mark by recording 18 shutouts on the season with a 0.45 GAA, led by NSCAA All-American and center-back Amy Strath. Joining Strath as an NSCAA All-Americans was Jaclyn Means. Means led the team with 53 points on 18 goals and 17 assists. Paige Achey led the team in goals wtih 20 and was rewarded with an NJCAA All-American selection, Hunter's 18th All-American at Butler and 19th overall. The 2014 season marked the Grizzlies fourth trip to the NJCAA National Tournament after finishing 16-5-3 (9-1-1). The Grizzlies started the year ranked as the #3 team in the land by both the NSCAA and NJCAA. They were able to finish in the top ten of both national polls (#6 NSCAA and #10 NJCAA). Butler once again won the Region VI Championship, a third straight year, by defeating Johnson County 5-0 in the semi-final and then besting their arch-rival Hutchinson by a score of 3-1 in the championship match. This was all accomplished while the Grizzlies played one of the most difficult schedules in the country, facing ten teams that appeared in the national rankings and four teams that advanced to the national tournament. The Grizzlies were led by three NSCAA All-Americans: forward Madison Wedekind (a repeat selection), forward Brittney Lawrence (also named to the NJCAA All-Tournament Team), and goalkeeper Kelsi Langley. Wedekind and Lawrence led the team in goals with 14 and 11 respectively. In 2013 the Grizzlies continued to find a way to garner more national recognition under Coach Hunter by reaching the NJCAA Final Four before an overtime loss in the semi-final match. The team was also recognized by finishing in the top five of the NJCAA and NSCAA national rankings. The Grizzlies made a third straight trip to Florida while finishing 21-3-2 (13-0-0) and winning a third straight, seventh overall, KJCCC Conference Championship. Butler breezed through the Region VI tournament by defeating fellow conference powers Hutchinson by a score of 4-2 in the semi-final and Johnson County by a score of 4-0 in the final. The 4-0 victory over the Cavaliers is the most lopsided victory in the history of the Region VI Championship. The Grizzlies were paced by NJCAA and NSCAA First Team All-American Morgan Foster who led the country in goals (43) and points (102) to go along with her 16 assists. The team also produced NJCAA All-American Madison Wedekind who finished second in the country with 20 assists, St. Kitts National Team member Brittany Lawrence who recorded 28 goals and 14 assists for 70 points, and NJCAA All-Tournament Defender Darci Nightingale. The Grizzlies continue to prove the importance of academic success by finishing the year as the KJCCC Academic Conference Champions...the eighth overall and fourth under Hunter. The team was also recognized as NJCAA and NSCAA Team Academic Award winners. The team turned out 15 KJCCC Academic All-Conference members and another three Academic All-Americans. Alyssia Salinas was named NJCAA and NSCAA Academic All-American while Lamya Scott joined her on the NJCAA Academic All-American Team.
