Letrich completed her first season as assistant coach of CSUN Women's Water Polo. In her first season with the team, the Matadors went 12-20 and finished with a 22nd ranking in the nation.    Letrich spent the 2015 season as an assistant at Washington & Jefferson College in Washington, PA. She was responsible for assisting in all facets of the program, from coaching to recruiting to budget management. The Presidents finished with an overall record of 17-9 in Letrich's one season, falling to Connecticut College 13-10 in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Division III championship game.   As a competitor, Letrich was a four-year leter winner at Santa Clara University from 2010-14. Letrich appeared in 52 games over four seasons at the driver position for the Broncos. She posted two goals, one assist and nine steals as a senior in 2014 while earning Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches and Golden Coast Conference All-Academic honors.   A native of Chicago, IL, Letrich earned her bachelor of science degree in Psychology with minors in Communication and Mathematics from Santa Clara in 2014. 

Matthies completed his second season as head coach with CSUN Women's Water Polo.  Matthies coached the Matadors to a 12-20 record in 2016 and a fifth-place finish in the Big West Conference Tournament with a win over No. 10 UC Davis on the final day of the tournament. The Matadors finished the season ranked 22nd in the nation. The team defeated four teams that were nationally-ranked including beating Top 20 teams Loyola Marymount and UC Davis over the final three games of the season. Madeleine Sanchez earned Second Team All-Big West in 2016.   In 2015, the Matadors went 15-11 and finished second in the Big West Conference standings. Matthies coached the Matadors to a third-place finish in the 2015 Big West Conference Championship. Four Matadors earned All-Conference honors including Marisa Young (First Team), Kelcy Barott (Second Team), Kelcie Ferreira (Second Team) and Kiernan Davis (Honorable Mention).  Matthies is the third CSUN Women's Water Polo head coach in program history with his appointment to the position in June of 2014. A talented player during his NCAA career, Matthies has brought extensive credentials and experience to the Matadors.  Matthies joins the Matadors after serving as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's teams at LMU. During his stint with the Lions, Matthies coached six CWPA All-Americans (three men, three women) in addition to 18 ACWPC All-Academic honorees. The women's program also won the Golden Coast Conference Championship in 2014. While at LMU Matthies was charged with coordinating the program's recruiting efforts, as well as working with the goalies, center offense and center defense. Prior to his time at LMU, Matthies was an assistant with the men's and women's programs at Bucknell University from 2011 to 2012. He has also spent time as a coach within the USA Water Polo ODP System (since 2009) and has assisted at Pepperdine University, Westlake (Ca.) High School and the University of California, Berkeley. As a player, Matthies won the 2006 NCAA Division I National Championship with Cal and was named an All-American three times. He also competed for the USA Water Polo National Team at the senior level from 2002 to 2005 and again from 2009 to 2010. Matthies earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Cal in 2008.
