Assistant Coach

Spencer Moe joined the CSUSB track and field program as an assistant coach prior to the 2020 season. In just one abbreviated season he managed to coach three school records as well as 14 top-10 marks over four events. Previous to Cal State San Bernardino, Moe coached at Clark College in Vancouver, Washington from 2015 to 2019. In his time with Clark College he has coached seven athletes to 13 All-American finishes including the 2018 men’s javelin champion.  Moe also managed six top-10 marks in the schools' history.  Coach Moe specializes in the throws and competed in college at Portland State where he is top-10 all time in the hammer throw. Coach Moe has been coaching for over 12 years including working the prestigious Ironwood Throws Camp during that time as well as interning with world class coaches with the Altis training group such as John Godina, Dan Pfaff, Stuart McMillan, and many other world class athletes. It’s my responsibility to be that bridge between the game and the viewer at home. There are so many wonderful talented players across CSUSB and other schools. I want to make sure you know these players on a deeper level. I also want to provide enthusiasm for every single play because the players and coaches deserve that. When you hear or see me calling games, it’s my absolute privilege and honor.” - Ernesto Madrigal-Rodriguez   Since 2019, CSUSB has hosted several postseason tournaments that Ernesto has been on the call:   2019 CCAA Women’s Volleyball Tournament NCAA West Regional Volleyball Tournament 2021 CCAA Women’s Volleyball Tournament NCAA West Region Volleyball Tournament 2022 NCAA West Region Men’s Basketball Tournament CCAA Men’s Soccer Tournament 2023 NCAA West Regional Baseball Tournament
