Head Coach

Preston is a graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School. He earned a B.S. in marketing/management from Campbellsville University in 2003 and a Master's in Business Administration from CU in 2007. He played collegiately at Campbellsville where he was a four-year starter and two-time team captain. During his career, he received All Mid-South Conference Team honors as a Second Team selection and honorable mention. He was also an Academic All-Conference selection. He and his wife Brittany have one daughter, Avery Ellen Preston, who was born in the spring of 2011.

Dr. Drew Sin

Head Coach

Entering 2024-25: 7th Year Alma Mater: Campbellsville ('13) Entering his seventh season helping lead the program in 2025 is Coach Drew Sin. His tenure with the team is highlighted by capturing the program's first-ever NCCAA National Championship in 2021. A former four-year starter and captain for Campbellsville, Sin has translated his passion for the university and knowledge of the game into remarkable success from the sideline, also guiding the Tigers to an NAIA National Tournament appearance in 2019 while developing numerous All-Americans. Sin's leadership was on full display during the 2021 championship run, where he navigated the team to a dominant 3-1 victory over Judson University in the title match. This national success was preceded by a 2019 season that saw the Tigers earn a spot in the NAIA National Tournament and produce six NCCAA All-Americans, a testament to Sin’s ability to recruit and develop elite talent. A native of Cape Town, South Africa, Sin’s connection to the program runs deep. During his playing career from 2010-2013, he was a fixture on the Tigers' back line, starting 67 of his 83 appearances. His leadership was recognized by his teammates and coaches, as he was named a team captain for his final two seasons and was a three-time recipient of the Campbellsville University Champion of Character Award. Sin leverages a strong academic background in his coaching, holding a degree in Sports Medicine and Exercise Science from Campbellsville and a Medical Honors degree in the same field from the University of Cape Town. This expertise allows him to bring a unique, data-driven approach to player development and performance analysis. In addition to his coaching duties, Sin is the co-founder of Accord Agency, a sales and marketing firm in Cape Town.

Drew Sin

Assistant Coach

Dru Sin is in his second season with the Tigers coaching staff. His first as the assistant. Sin returned to Campbellsville University in the fall of 2019 as a graduate assistant for the program. In 2019, Sin helped lead the Tigers to a 14-7-1 overall record going 5-3 inside MSC play. He also helped lead the Tigers to their First NAIA Appearance since 2016. Sin was able to assist in six NCCAA All-Americans in Maximilian Kohlfuerst (First Team), Marc Lawerence (First Team), Owen Stott (Second Team), Connor Grant (Second Team), Tom Edge (Second Team), and Gustav Oskarsson (Third Team). A native of Cape Town, South Africa, Sin was a four-year starter for the Tigers and served his final two seasons as one of the team captains. Sin was also a three-time recipient of the Campbellsville University Champion of Character Award, presented to one player from each CU sports program annually. In his four years as a defender on the CU men's soccer team, he played in a University record 83 games while starting 67 contests on the Tigers' back line. Over that time, he recorded two goals and five assists with his season-high in points coming in his senior season of 2013 when he finished with a goal and two assists.

James Clements

Assistant Coach

Entering 2025-26: 7th year Alma Mater: (Campbellsville '12, UofL '14) Originally from Lebanon, Ky., Clements prepped at Marion County High School before becoming a four-year starter for the men's soccer team. During his time in goal for the Tigers, Clements tallied 315 saves in his four-year career, including a season-high 104 during his senior campaign in 2010.  Clements serves as the goal keepers coach for both the men and women's soccer programs at Campbellsville. He is also a professor in the human performance department.
