Head Coach

Entering 2025-26: 2nd Year Alma Mater: LIU Brooklyn Ranard Adkison was named Head Track and Field Coach at Campbellsville University on July 9, 2024. He brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to the Tigers’ program, having coached across multiple levels of collegiate track and field. Adkison’s coaching résumé includes stops at Stony Brook University, Talladega College, Sacred Heart University, Southwest Baptist University, Cal State University–Los Angeles, and Texas A&M University–Commerce. Throughout his career, he has developed numerous standout athletes, including NCAA national champions, conference champions, All-Americans, and U.S. national championship qualifiers. He is widely respected for his expertise in the sprints, jumps, and hurdle events, and is known for a coaching philosophy grounded in discipline, technical precision, and student-athlete development. A native of Dallas, Texas, Adkison was a decorated NCAA Division I student-athlete at Long Island University–Brooklyn, where he earned seven first-team All-Conference honors and set multiple school and conference records. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Media Arts from LIU–Brooklyn, a Master of Science in Education from Southwest Baptist University, and a Master of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University–Commerce. He also holds certifications from USA Track & Field (USATF) and the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA). Coach Adkison is passionate about building a culture of excellence and preparing student-athletes for success both on the track and in life. He is committed to leading Campbellsville University’s Track and Field program to new heights.

Casey Bradstreet

Head Coach

Entering 2025-26: 15th year w/ women & 14th w/ men Alma Mater: Campbellsville ('08) Casey Bradstreet is entering her fifteenth year with the women and fourteenth year with the men as the head coach of the swim program. Bradstreet swam for the Lady Tigers in 2007 and 2008, and is the fifth women's swimming and third men's swimming coach since Campbellsville added the sport in the early 1990s. Bradstreet emphasizes character within her swim program and it was shown throughout the athletic department at CU when her team was selected to as the inaugural Team Servant Leadership Award at Campbellsville's first Athletics Awards Night.   She has led the women’s team to the NAIA Championship every year since 2012, followed by the men every year since 2016. Bradstreet was recognized as the Mid-South Conference Women's Swimming Coach of the Year in 2015 and earned the Men's Swimming Coach of the Year in 2020. Her outstanding leadership has also earned the men’s and women’s teams the NAIA Buffalo Funds Five Star Champions of Character Team award in 2014 and 2016. Since 2011, Bradstreet has produced four MSC individual Champions of Character award winners. At the 2020 NAIA Championships, Bradstreet coached Sebastian Escobar to the men's first ever NAIA All-American honor in the 200 freestyle. The following season, in 2021, the NAIA Swim Championships were canceled due to COVID-19 so All-American status was granted to national qualifiers as the Tigers and Lady Tigers each had two representatives in Hannah Rhodenbaugh, Lizandri Crewe-Brown, Ian Lopez, and Escobar.   A native of Bath, N.Y., Bradstreet began her competitive swim experience with the Corning Community YMCA River Rats, in Corning N.Y. While a student at Eastern University, she swam with EU’s club team in St. Davids, Pa. before competing for Campbellsville University in 2007-2008.   During her time as an undergraduate, she was the individual Champions of Character recipient in 2008 and was an NAIA Scholar-Athlete for both seasons of competition. She holds a bachelor's degree in theater with a minor in educational ministries.   Bradstreet has resided in Campbellsville since 2007 and now has a son, David.

Shannon Wathen

Head Coach

Entering 2025-26: 24th year (23rd as head coach) Alma Mater: Campbellsville University ('99) Overall Record: 807-382-4 (.677) MSC Championships: 9 A pillar of Campbellsville University athletics, Shannon Wathen enters her 24th season with the university and 23rd as the head coach of the Lady Tiger softball program, having built a legacy of national prominence and conference dominance. Ranked among the top 20 active NAIA coaches for career wins, Wathen is the second-winningest coach in Campbellsville University history. Her decorated tenure is highlighted by leading the Lady Tigers to their first-ever NAIA World Series appearance in 2015 and consistently producing championship-caliber teams and nationally recognized student-athletes. Under Wathen's leadership, the Lady Tigers have been a perennial power in the Mid-South Conference, capturing nine regular-season championships and six tournament titles. Her teams have been a fixture in the conference tournament finals, appearing in 13 championship games during her time at the helm. This sustained success is a testament to her ability to build and reload talented rosters, evidenced by her 10 MSC Coach of the Year awards. An accomplished developer of talent, Wathen has coached numerous players to NAIA and NFCA All-American honors, in addition to multiple conference Player, Pitcher, and Freshman of the Year recipients. Her own experience as an elite student-athlete at Campbellsville—where she was a two-time All-American in women's basketball—provides a unique foundation for her coaching philosophy. Wathen, a 1999 Campbellsville graduate, began her coaching career as a graduate assistant for the women's basketball team under legendary coach Donna Wise before taking the helm of the softball program in 2003. Her commitment to the university's mission extends beyond the field, as she has participated in several athletics department mission trips. Entering 2024-25: 14th Year Alma Mater: Campbellsville University ('08) Office Phone: (270) 789-5455 E-mail: [email protected] Bryce White is entering his 14th season with the Campbellsville University Softball team. He returns as the assistant coach after a stint as the head coach of Avila College from 2020-2021 While working with head coach Shannon Wathen, the 2015 year was one for the books. Having sometimes five freshmen in the starting lineup, CU won their sixth MSC regular season championship, the program's first-ever NAIA Opening Round championship and their first World Series appearance. In 2018, the Lady Tigers earned their second most wins in a season in program history with 47 after going 47-10 on the year on their way to winning both MSC regular-season and tournament titles. They then went on to the championship game of the NAIA Opening Round -- which the Lady Tigers hosted for the second-straight season. Campbellsville also matched its highest ranking in the NAIA National Poll at No. 4 overall, which they held for most of the season. The Lady Tigers have had eight NAIA All-Americans, including two-time First-Team honoree Jacqueline Roof and two-time Second-Team recipient Victoria Decker – Tori Humphrey (2018, Second Team; 2017, First Team), Jacqueline Roof (2017, Second Team; 2016, First Team), Victoria Decker (2016 and 2015, Second Team), Brianna Scott (2016, Second Team), and Kristin Benton (2014, Second Team).  A native of Tekonsha, Mich., White played two years of baseball at Kellogg Community College in Battle Creek, Mich., and one year at Olivet College in Olivet, Mich., before finishing his playing career at Campbellsville. He graduated from CU in 2008 with a degree in physical education with a minor in coaching.
