Bryan McDonald

Assistant Coach

McDonald enters his second year as an assistant men's lacrosse coach on the Capital staff. In his first year with the Crusaders, the team had eight members named to the All-Ohio Athletic Conference teams, including OAC Defensive Player of the Year, Tate Stover. Stover and three others were named First Team All-OAC. Brennan OCallaghan came on the scene and was the recipient of the OAC Freshman of the Year and OAC Co-Offensive Player of the Year awards. A three-year starter at close defense for The College of Wooster, McDonald brings playing and coaching experience to Capital's coaching staff. As a senior, he was an All-North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) selection. Since graduation, McDonald has served as the defensive coordinator at Pickerington Central High School, where he helped the team capture its first Ohio Capital Conference Championship in 2012 before aiding them repeat in 2013. Before he left, PCHS was ranked in the top-20 in the state of Ohio for the first time in school history. McDonald graduated with a bachelor's degree in mathematics from Wooster in 2011. He resides in Canal Winchester, Ohio.
