Colin Shaunnessey
Assistant Coach
Bio Colin Shaunnessey begins his fifth season on the staff for the Carnegie Mellon University men’s basketball program in 2025-26. Shaunnessey is a 1998 graduate of Carnegie Mellon where he earned his bachelor’s degree in industrial management. While at Carnegie Mellon, he was a two-year starter on the basketball team under the direction of current head coach Tony Wingen and served as co-captain his senior season. Shaunnessey appeared in 53 games for the Tartans and scored 315 points, grabbed 176 rebounds and handed out 58 assists. Shaunnessey currently works as an independent consultant in the financial services industry. Shaunnessey resides in Hampton Township with wife Sara, son Jack and daughter Grace.
