Carthage College Women's Soccer

Davis joins Carthage from Marquette University, where she served as assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. During her tenure, she played a vital role in developing dynamic attacking strategies, leading to a significant improvement in offensive output. Her strategic recruiting efforts also brought in top-tier talent from across the nation, elevating the program's competitiveness in the Big East Conference.  "This was a thorough and highly competitive search process, and we are confident that Chelsea is the right leader to take our women's soccer program to new heights," said Director of Athletics Ryan Kane. We are excited to see her vision and energy transform our program."  Before her time at Marquette, Davis served as the head coach at Pacific University, where she spearheaded a remarkable turnaround for the women's soccer program. Through her efforts to establish a positive team culture, recruit standout student-athletes, and implement effective game strategies, the team achieved significant on-field success. Under her leadership, the program also excelled academically, with numerous players earning scholar-athlete honors. In addition to her collegiate coaching experience, Davis has held coaching positions at Palomar College, the University of San Francisco, and California State University, Fresno. Her diverse coaching background, combined with her professional playing experience with Bollstanäs SK in Sweden, provides her with a well-rounded understanding of the game at an elite level. Davis is also a USYNT Scout for the central region, working with identifying U13 and U14 talent. Davis holds a Master's degree in Multimedia Communications from the Academy of Art University and a Bachelor's degree in Communication from California State University Fresno. She is also a highly credentialed coach, possessing a USSF National B License and an NSCAA National Diploma.

A 2025 graduate of Luther College (Iowa), the Fall 2025 campaign will be Bell’s first as a graduate assistant coach with the Firebirds. Bell joins the Firebird coaching staff as the director of goalkeeping. While playing for Luther College (Iowa), Bell made 62 appearances that included over 4,500 mins played for the Norse. Named two-time all-conference team and three-time academic all-district team, Bell helped captain the Norse to a regular-season conference title (2024) and conference tournament title and berth to the NCAA III National Tournament (2022).  Off the pitch, Bell was named an NCAA Postgraduate Scholar in 2025, and was a 3-time academic all-American & four-time national qualifier in Diving.
