The year prior, Henry guided the Spartans to the second most victories (26) in school single-season history and a seven-win improvement over the 2011 campaign. The Spartan win total was also a 17-win improvement over the team's tally from 2010 the last season prior to Henrys hiring. In her first season (2011) at the helm of the program, Henry led her team to a 13-5 record over the final 18 games, while then junior Lauren Wolz became the first NFCA All-American in program history. Prior to assuming the reigns at Case Western Reserve, Henry spent four years as an assistant at CSU, working primarily with the Viking pitchers in addition to assisting with recruiting and coordinating community service efforts. She helped CSU to four consecutive 30-win seasons and four straight trips to the Horizon League Championship game.
