Jessica Kischko
Head Coach
Kischko led the Castleton field hockey team to a 4-12 record in her second season as head coach, doubling the team's win total from the 2014 season. In her first year with the program the team reached the North Atlantic Conference Semifinals despite fielding a team with just six juniors and seniors. She also coached the NAC Player of the Year and her team was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad. Kischko comes to Castleton after spending the past two seasons as an assistant at Wittenberg University. Over her two years with the Tigers, she helped the team to 14 wins and this past year two players earned NFHCA All-Region honors while five were named all-conference. She has also served as a Futures Olympic Development Coach in New York, Ohio and New England. Prior to Wittenberg, Kischko spent the 2010 season as an assistant coach at Oswego St. and then the 2011 campaign at Ithaca College. Kischko played four seasons at Elmira, appearing in 45 games over four seasons. Primarily a defender, she finished her career with three goals and one assist. She earned the team's sportsmanship award in 2009 and was named to the NFHCA All-Academic Team in both 2008 and 2009. Kischko, a native of Springfield, Vt. graduated from Elmira in 2010 with a degree in psychology while minoring in sociology.

Trista Johnson
Assistant Coach
Johnson finished her second season as the graduate assistant for Castletons womens field hockey team in 2015. Johnson is a 2013 graduate of Union College with a degree in English. With the Dutchwomen, Johnson played in 46 games and recorded two assists. In 2012, she was selected as the team captain and defensive player of the year for Union. In addition, she was named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad. At Union, Johnson spent terms researching in France and India, and she interned for Musana Jewelry in Uganda. In 2013, Johnson was awarded The Brind Prize by Unions English department for her outstanding performance. Johnson previously spent time as the Assistant Varsity Field Hockey Coach for Canterbury School. She is a native of Bomoseen, Vermont and a graduate of Canterbury School. In 2009, Johnson was selected as a Western New England Prep School All Star. Johnsons brother Conner is a pitcher for Castletons baseball team.
