Catholic University Women's Volleyball

Kristin Lough joined the Catholic University volleyball program for her first season as a Graduate Assistant while pursuing her Master of Science in Management with a focus on Leadership and Management in 2024. As a setter throughout her collegiate career, Kristin was a key leader on the court, consistently guiding her team with her play making abilities and strategic mindset. Known for her work ethic and dedication, Kristin not only contributed with her skills as a setter but also brought a strong sense of leadership, helping to elevate the team's performance. Her experience and leadership qualities will be a significant asset as she transitions into her role as a Graduate Assistant with the Catholic University volleyball team. Lough was a three-year member on the volleyball team at Concord where she totalled over 400 assists in her career.

Hired in January of 2024 as Catholic's first-ever Director of Athletic Bands, Chris Pearlberg enters his second full school year leading the Catholic pep band.  During his first year, the Cardinal Pep Band performed at home events including football, basketball, volleyball, and track contests as well as a number of events across campus.  Pearlberg joined Catholic after spending a little more than a year as the Athletic Bands Director at St. Mary's College of Maryland. Pearlberg was tasked with the similar role of developing and directing a new college pep band upon his arrival at St. Mary's.  Pearlberg holds a Bachelor of Music, Performance degree from Temple University ('12), a Master of Music, Performance degree from Carnegie Mellon ('14), and a Doctor of Music, Literature and Performance degree from Indiana University ('20).  His extensive teaching background includes time spent at St. Mary's Ryken in Leonardtown, Md., and Phillips Exeter Academy in Exeter, NH. Pearlberg also has teaching experience at the Luzerne Music Center in Luzerne, N.Y., the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music, Campbellsville University, and Timberlane Regional School District in Plaistow, NH.  Students of Pearlberg's have gone on to great success including, but not limited to a gold medal in the Indiana State School Music Association (Solo and Ensemble), Juilliard Pre College, Juilliard Music Advancement Program, and the New Jersey Youth Symphony.
