Johnson will begin his 6th year at the helm of the Wildcats mens lacrosse program (31-35). A Baldwinsville Native, Coach Johnson served as team captain in 1983 before going on to be recognized as an All-American at Vermont Academy in 1984. He then went on to an outstanding career at St. Lawrence University, garnering several conference and national accolades such as: -1985 - Conference Rookie-of the -Year -1986,87,88 - 1st Team ICAC -1987,88 - 3rd Team All America In 2012 Coach Johnson was selected as the North Eastern Athletic Conference Coach of the Year and in 2014 led the Wildcats to the most wins in program history with eight. After back to back winning seasons and a trip to the conference Final 4 in 2015, the Wildcats mens lacrosse program continues to grow and prepare for a run at the NEAC Title and, a trip to the NCAA tournament.  Under Coach Johnsons guidance (32) players have earned NEAC All-Conference selections. Coach Johnson currently lives in Baldwinsville with his wife Holly, daughter Glory and son Justin.
