Centre College Men's Soccer

Burch is ranked in the top 25 nationally among active division III coaches.  The Colonels annually play one of the nations most difficult schedules as they prepare for the Southern Athletic Association conference tilt. Burchs influences are Tony DiCicco, Frans Hoek, and Sir Alex Ferguson.  Burch spent his formative years as a goalkeeper attending the newly formed Tony DiCicco Soccer Plus Goalkeeping Schools.  He later served on the coaching staff with SPGS before being invited to join the staff of FIFA World Clinician Frans Hoek at his 3-week seminar in Sonoma, California.  Burch was fortunate to have a captain whose brother played for Arsenal FC.  Burch attended the Manchester United at Arsenal match in Highbury on a Sunday in 2004.  He spent time at the Arsenal Training Grounds after their Champions League clash with Chelsea on a Wednesday leading up to their Sunday match with United. Burch continues to develop a successful coaching tree.  Former assistant coach Mark Hudson is Head Coach at Austin College, David Horne is Director of Soccer Operations at the University of Louisville, Adam Boyer is Head Coach at Spalding University, James Kusak is Assistant Coach at Spalding University, and Brian Bouhl is the Director of Soccer Operations for the University of Kentucky.  Burchs 26 years at Centre include his time with Kentuckys leading soccer camp.  He is the Owner / Operator of Player Development Programs, LLC, () and has worked with over 11,000 players.  Burch spends time in his community;
