Chipola College Women's Cross Country

Massengill was named coach of the Chipola Womens Cross Country program.  Massengill, the college's aquatic manager, was a natural fit for the program.  Since the inaugural season of 2007, the program has continued to grow and improve under Coach Massengill.  The program has yielded a host of individual NJCAA Academic All-Americans and has been recognized twice for NJCAA All-Team Academic status. In 2012, the team made its first ever appearance at the NJCAA Cross Country Championships. Massengill is a Chipola Alumnus and his father was in the first class of the college in 1947.  Coach Massengill earned his degree from the University of West Floridas College of Health, Leisure and Sports.  He has over two decades of combined experience in the sports and recreation industry.  Massengill is married to Susan Bannerman Massengill and they have a daughter, Courtney.
