Tracey begins his 12th consecutive season at the helm of the the program, and 14th overall. Tracey helped started the program back in 1996 serving as the head coach that season and staying with them until 1997 serving as the assistant coach that second year. He then returned eight years later in 2005, helping resurrect the program he began. Since taking the reins back over the program, Tracey has turned the Lady Owls from an also ran into one of the most consistently successful prorgams across Southern California. Tracey has guided the Owls to three CCCAA Women's Soccer Playoff appearances in the last four years (2012, 2013, & 2015). During the 2012 and 2013 seasons, Tracey's squad had their best best back to back seasons in program history. The 2012 season saw the Owls win a program record 15 games, including 11 in conference play, and qualify for the post-season for the first time in program history. Tracey was named the Western State Conference South Division Coach of the Year. Citrus followed that up in 2013 by going 12-6-4 overall and 10-2-2 in conference play, qualifying for the playoffs for a second straight year.   During the 2006-2007 seasons, Tracey led the team to its first back to back winning seasons in program history and in 2007 led them to a program best 15-4-3 record. Tracey was rewarded for his efforts in 2006, by being named the Western State Conference South Coach of the Year. An accomplished player himself, Tracey is a 1981 graduate of Claremont High School where he helped lead the Wolfpack to back to back Baseline League titles and CIF playoff appearances. Tracey was also named an All-Baseline League honoree in 1981. Upon graduating from Claremont Tracey moved onto to nearby Mt. San Antonio College where he continued his collegiate career. Tracey earned All-Conference honors both seasons and eventually went on to play to All-Conference seasons for Cal Poly Pomona. After his collegiate playing days came to an end, Tracey played semi-professional soccer for three seasons in the Pacific Soccer League. Shortly after his playing career came to an end, Tracey moved into the coaching ranks serving first as the Assistant Mens Coach at his alma mater Cal Poly Pomona. Tracey served on the Broncos staff for three seasons from 1986-1989 before taking over as the Head Mens Soccer Coach right here at Citrus College. Tracey helped start up the mens program and served as the Head Coach for nine seasons, guiding the Fighting Owls through the 1997 season. Along with his duties at Cal Poly and Citrus, Tracey has also coached at the high school level in one capacity or another for the past 28 years. Currently, Tracey serves as the Head Varsity Girls Soccer Coach for Claremont High School. In 2012, Tracey led the Wolfpack to a CIF Championship. Tracey has also been active at the club level serving as a coach for the Claremont Stars and Alta Loma Aztecs. Tracey, who did his undergraduate work at Cal Poly Pomona, also has an M.A. in Education. He currently resides in Claremont and has two children, a daughter Taylor and a son Jordan.  Coach Tracey by the Numbers
