born December 14, 1976) is an American [college football](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/College_football) coach. He is the head football coach for [Clark Atlanta University](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clark_Atlanta_University), a position he has held since 2024.[[1]](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teddy_Keaton#cite_note-1) He was the head football coach for [Allen University](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allen_University) from 2018 to 2023. Keaton was born in Brewton, Alabama. Keaton previously served as the running backs coach of the [Miles College](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miles_College) [Golden Bears](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Miles_Golden_Bears_football). Keaton graduated from [Stillman College](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stillman_College) in 1999 and served as an assistant coach under [Theophilus Danzy](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theophilus_Danzy)through the 2004 season.[[2]](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teddy_Keaton#cite_note-December_4,_2010-2) From Stillman, he served as the defensive coordinator with the [Odessa Roughnecks](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Odessa_Roughnecks) and as head coach of both the [Lakeland Thunderbolts](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lakeland_Thunderbolts) and [Huntington Heroes](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Huntington_Heroes) [arena football](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arena_football) teams before returning to college coaching.[[3]](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teddy_Keaton#cite_note-December_7,_2010-3) He served as [defensive backs coach](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Defensive_backs_coach) for one season before becoming [offensive coordinator](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Offensive_coordinator) at [Webber International University](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Webber_International_University) between 20082010.[[3]](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teddy_Keaton#cite_note-December_7,_2010-3) On December 2, 2010, Keaton was hired to replace [L. C. Cole](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/L._C._Cole) as head coach at Stillman.[[2]](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teddy_Keaton#cite_note-December_4,_2010-2)After the 2015 season, Stillman discontinued its football program. Keaton's record at Stillman was 27 wins and 26 losses.
