Head Coach

Inglehart led the Apaches to the ACCAC championship and their third regional championship appearance in four years. The Apaches finished the season 43-18, ranked seventh in the country reaching as high as No. 2. In 2005, Cochise won a then-school record 45 games, made a Region I championship appearance and finished 16th in the nation. In 2004, the Apaches won 39 games and went to their first regional championship in 12 years. Inglehart has received ACCAC Coach of the Year honors in 2004, 2007 and 2013; Western District Coach of the Year in 2013 and 2014; and ABCA Regional Coach in 2013 and 2014. Inglehart came to Cochise College from Yavapai College in Prescott, Ariz., where he spent three years as the assistant. In those three years, Yavapai went 116-52, won two conference championships, produced three All-Americans, and finished each of the last two regular seasons ranked in the top 10 nationally. Prior to his tenure at Yavapai, Inglehart served as the assistant baseball coach at the University of Wyoming from 1992 to 1996. At Wyoming, he was the recruiting coordinator, hitting and infield coach. During his tenure, the Cowboys were one of the more prolific hitting teams in the country, finishing in the top 10 in batting average in 1992 and 1994. They led the nation in batting (.363) during 1996. Inglehart is a native of Mission Viejo, Calif., where he attended El Toro High School. From there he moved on to Saddleback College while playing in the Orange Empire Conference. After receiving his associate of arts degree, Inglehart transferred to the University of Wyoming, where he competed in the Western Athletic Conference under then-head coach Bill Kinneberg. Upon graduating from UW in 1990, he earned his masters degree in exercise science in 1992. Todd and his wife, Laurie, have two children, Tyler (19) and Makenna (8), and reside in Sierra Vista, Ariz. Jesus Arzaga Position:    Assistant Baseball Coach Alma Mater: Regis University Fax: Jesus A. Arzaga is entering his second season on the Apaches coaching staff after spending two years at the high school level. In 2014, he helped Cochise become the first Region I team to make successive trips to the NJCAA World Series in 25 years. The Apaches finished 38-29 and became the first school ever to win back-to-back Western District titles. Before Arzaga started coaching at Desert Mountain High and Westwood High, he had four successful seasons as an infielder. Arzaga played for two for Central Arizona Community College and two for Regis University. He help lead Regis to two region tournaments and Central Arizona to two Region I championships, a district championship, and a thiplace finish in the JUCO World Series. Arzaga was part of the 2008 Central Arizona team that set the NJCAA fielding record, with .977. Arzaga earned his bachelors degree in Spanish with a minor in secondary education from Regis University in 2010. He is beginning his masters degree in coaching and athletic administration at Concordia University in Irvine. With the Apaches, he primarily serves as the Recruiting Coordinator, hitting and infield, and strength/conditioning coach. Jesus and his wife, Kelsey, have two newborns, Annabelle and Adrian, and reside in Douglas. Since 2004, the Apaches have averaged 38 wins per year and reached the postseason eight times. In 2014, Cochise became the first Region I team to make successive trips to the NJCAA World Series in 25 years. The Apaches finished 38-29 and became the first school ever to win back-to-back Western District titles. The 2013 season was the most successful in Cochises history, finishing a school record 52-19, with a third-place finish at NJCAA College World Series and ranked No. 2 in the nation by Perfect Game and No. 4 by the NJCAA. The Apaches were Region I champions and won their first Western District Championship. The 2010 season saw the Apaches advance to the post season for the sixthtime in seven years, the only ACCAC program to do so in that time.
