College of Notre Dame Men's Lacrosse

Subrizi begins her fourth season as the assistant volleyball coach at Notre Dame of Maryland University.  In addition to her coaching role, Subrizi will help run all of Notre Dame Athletics' social media websites as well as assisting with game statistics and website maintenance.in her other role as the athletics department Graduate Assistant.  During the winter season, she will serve as the main basketball contact.  A 2011 graduate of the school with a degree in Communication, she stands as the Notre Dame record holder in kills in a career and is tied for most kills in a match.  For her career she is also ranked fifth in aces and seventh in digs and is second for aces in a match.  Starting every match of her career, Subrizi was named the Sr. Patricia McLaughlin Award receipient, given out to the outstanding underclassman athlete and earned Colonial States Athletic Conference All-Academic Team honors three seasons.  Her career culminated with her being awarded the department's Sr. Bernice  Feilinger Award, an award given to the best senior athlete.     After graduation, she continued her relationship with the volleyball team as an assistant coach, a role she has filled for the past three seasons.  Prior to her role as the graduate assistant, served as a photographer and tool crib technician at Aberdeen Proving Ground in Aberdeen, Md.  As a student at Notre Dame, Subrizi was the NDMU Television Studio Manager, worked with the Aberdeen Ironbirds in their video department, and also interned with Towson University as Video Production Intern.  Subrizi is currently pursing her masters degree in Leadership and Management.    

DaSilva begins her first season at the helm of the Notre Dame lacrosse program.     A four-year standout on the soccer and lacrosse teams from 1998-2002, Erin Sturgis ended her playing career in the top ten statistical categories of both sports. In the lacrosse record books, Sturgis is the career assist leader (101) and third all-time in points scored (275) and sixth all-time in goals scored (176). She is also in the top-ten career leader list for ground balls (173), draw controls (87), and caused turnovers (86). Her 45 assists during her senior season is still the program record. A two-time IWLCA Regional All-American (First Team, 2000; Second Team, 2001), Sturgis was also All-AWCC First Team from 1999-2002, and the AWCCs Most Outstanding Lacrosse Player in 2000 and 2002. She was awarded Notre Dames Outstanding Underclass Athlete Award as well as Outstanding Senior Athlete Award and earned a B.A. degree in Communication Arts and Philosophy. Sturgis was inducted into Notre Dames Hall of Fame in 2010. A member of the National Soccer Coaches Association of America, US Soccer and US Lacrosse, Erin Sturgis DaSilva resides in Canton with her husband, Matt, Editor in Chief of Lacrosse Magazine.
