College of Saint Rose Women's Track

Ardizone enters his tenth season with The College of Saint Rose womens basketball team. Aside from his responsibilities to the womens basketball program, Ardizone works inside the external relations fold of the department.   Prior to his arrival on Western Avenue, Ardizone spent two years as an associate coach at Lansingburgh High in nearby Troy. He helped guide a program from a 3-17 mark in 2004-05 to a 17-5 mark the following year. Ardizone is no stranger to the collegiate ranks after spending the better part of 19 years at various institutions in the Northeast. He has had stints at Yale University, the United States Military Academy, Canisius College, the University at Albany and Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. During the 2003-04 season, Ardizone worked as a volunteer assistant at Yale where he helped implement game strategies, evaluated prospective student-athletes, handled group and individual instruction and coordinated the teams tape exchange program. Prior to his tenure at Yale, Ardizone spent five years as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at the U.S. Military Academy. While there, he brought aboard Katie MacFarlane who went on to become the schools all-time leading scorer and rebounder. Ardizone also helped lead the Black Knights to a 19-10 record in 2000-01 and into the Patriot League championship game two years later. Ardizone began his coaching career at Rensselaer in 1992 where he stayed for two years. He then moved on to UAlbany where he spent three seasons before heading to Canisius for the 1997-98 campaign. Ardizone is a 1990 graduate of Siena College where he earned a bachelors degree in marketing/management.
