Maddy Carpenter is in her seventh season with the Crusaders, and second as associate head coach in 2024-2025. She joined Holy Cross following three seasons as an assistant at Dartmouth, where she focused on the team’s defense and goalkeeping. She has also served as a Level II Coach in the USA Futures program since 2015, where she served as a head coach and an assistant for different regions in that time. As a student-athlete, Carpenter was a four-year starter in goal at Northwestern, where she served as a team captain and earned First Team All-Big Ten honors. Carpenter graduated from Northwestern in 2015 with a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology. She was a three-time All-Academic Big Ten selection, and was awarded the Big Ten Medal of Honor her senior year.
